You ever realize that the lyrics in this song aren't very good
>>72379524
It's not great of paper, but it's perfect with the music. Ideally the best lyricists would be good at both.
>>72379524
All I can even understand, except for the intro and the chorus, is "YOU HAD A COLAPSE, AND THERE'S NOTHING IN IT..."
It's a great performance. The way Frank says "I was swimming in the Caribbean" over that distinctive two notes with the background vocals is just one of the best meshes of sounds in a rock song.
Hey I'm moving in September and I have a list of cities in mind but I wanted /mu/'s opinion on whether they would be a good place to start a band. Quick background: i've been playing guitar for 12 years, singing for 2-ish years, and I wanna make music in a scene that isn't totally saturated AND is somewhat affordable. Bonus pts if you actually live in the city and can give me details about what you like/dislike.
Here is the list:
Seattle
Detroit
Nashville
Minneapolis
Baltimore
Philidelphia
Chicago
Memphis
New Orleans
Portland

Did that OP get bored making a thread that got 3 responses per night? :( I feel bad

zoeposting was last fun meme these threads had then mods 3 day banned anyone who did
and that was the end

no BNM, no BNR. nothing to see
I can't think of a single person who has ever brought up this album. It's not fantastic but it's definitely far from a bad album.
>>72379276
That's a shit album. 80's Comedown Machine on the other hand, that was wrongfully dismissed.
Post albums you've never seen discussed on /mu/ before.
This one's pretty good. The last three songs are the best.

Explain to me a few things: How's old school music better? I need a specific explanation, DONT juxtapose a lil wayne lyrical output with fucking bob dylan's lyrical output. Be actually constructive for once in your miserable lives.
Watch a video of Hendrix live and then delete this thread

The technology, sound and mindset of a lot of the music/artists at the time. True psychonauts(most) putting together strange music. As opposed to what I see (personally) a lot of pretentious jerkoffs trying to replicate what has already happened. Some of them remind me of types of people who move into a shitty side of town just because it seems cool.
I mean, I like some of the artists out there today that have their own sound and talent. But they are few and far between.
But these are just my personal take on your particular question.
Survivor bias, probably.
Which of these three talentless cunts do you hate the most, /mu/?
I don't know any of those girls but I guess I hate the middle one the most cause she's tryin to do the Beyoncé thing and it's not workin out because I mean come on there can only be one of those mama lamas running around the place getting married to jay z and all that shit yeah definitely the middle one I mean who does she think she is? White ass B copy cat slut whore bitch FUCK IM MAD

Jessie J and Cher never made good music.
Meanwhile Lily had a great reggae/ska album and then decided to stop making good albums and switch styles.
So I guess either of the other 2.
>>72378593
Lily Allen, she's as good at making music as she is at giving birth to kids.
You have an ETERNITY to find me a better lyricist EVER
protip: you can't
