Me 2 anon, her lyrics are simplistic as fuck and the compositions aren't interesting. Any time I bring this up to fans they just say her music is "nice"

For real though I don't really know. What she does is mediocre and there are many artists that do basically the same thing that are much better. Such as Whatever Dad, Baby Mollusk, Hop Along, and especially Florist which sounds hilariously similar to Frankie Cosmos but better.

Some of the more reflective post-metal (Isis, Cult of Luna) and non-sporkcore avant-garde (Thy Catafalque) are what I'd consider "art metal", but those genres already have enough headassery going on so calling them "art metal" just makes it worse
