spectrum mate. there is a spectrum just like with anything else.
Can trap be an "Intelligent" genre? How does one bring their selves to appreciate it more?
>>72395053
by watching this videos and learning about the new production and mixing techniques that are being used in the genre

>>72395053
if you have any knowledge of hip-hop production or have tried it yourself it's worthy of respect. idk where i can find an exhibition of 808 drums like i do in trap besides like juke/footwork (which trap takes influence from). many people point me in the direction of IDM or other electronic genres but their drums, especially their bass, fail to hit as hard as the drums in trap

So the consensus is positive on production, but how about songwriting/lyric-wise?
Well /mu/?
Right
Right, though I do love Fleet Foxes and enjoy ILYH well enough
>>72394984
its not even a competition bruh, right is on a whole nother level
What would you say is an album that sounds nostalgic?
do you even know what nostalgia means?
This one ( i own and original pressing of this by the way)
That is 100% subjective and personal to every individual and only you can determine that.
Who is the best blind black man?
>>72394922
Willie Johnson
>>72394922
How the fuck did the music industry get blessed with TWO fucking blind black guys making music during the same time periods. Incredible
Its like asking whose better, St. Peter or St. Paul
What do you think David Byrne is doing, right now? Where is he and what is he wearing?
I feel like right now he's sitting on a couch with reading glasses, his feet on an ottoman while someone else in the room is flicking through the channels while he reads a mediocre book on his kindle
He's checking 'em out
probably looking at an album of Annie's nudes while in a dark comfy room
Where do I go from here if this is the most amazing classical album I've ever heard?
whatever else martha argerich plays
I don't know if there's anywhere else to go after this. You've reached the pinnacle of music.
The Rite of Spring and Ravel's piano trio
Has any one else noticed the selly-ester watts field in this album ?

That meme isn't funny anymore
I would not be listening to the Smiths
I'd say I've never heard of them, because I haven't.
All of you fuckers who kept telling me this was better than Loveless should be shot.
I just heard this for the first time and almost fell asleep.
It is better than Loveless [1]
>>72394458
It's good but nowhere near as good as loveless and people who say that it is legitemately just dont understand loveless.

95% of my favorite music was made before 1977, so this was not easy. The only year for which I have no albums is 2013.
The albums with *s are the only ones that I'm actually really passionate about.

His new album is great but won't matter cuz people just shit on him on the basis of his cult-like fanbase
>>72394069
