Found her recently while trawling the recesses of wanna pop artists on youtube, but she's pretty fire. I'm in love right now.
Sounds a bit like RiRi, but sometimes she's got a mac dre vibe when she drops bars. This one is short and raw, but I'm into it right now:

eh, not really my type of stuff, i just like her neo soul tracks. i believe i found her through this song https://youtu.be/8LJsMUkxIWY , yt had recommended it to me. i then found the doji doj channel, followed her on twitter and fucked with her shit for a while, i really liked her periscope streams but sadly she doesn't do them anymore :/
If you were a music critic, what scoring system would you use?
>>72449169

Opinions on new The New Pornographers and the band in general?
It's not 2005.
I could never take a band with such a name seriously
>>72449129
>DUDE CURRENT YEAR
Shouldn't you be jerking over the latest FOTM trap album?
>>72449093
First three were lots of fun, but they've gotten way blander since then and I doubt they'll ever get back to that old quality =/
*deletes Easy Money*
>>72449018
This but unironically. Why does everyone love this song so much?
>>72449091
tuu ra tirau tao tururirau baradao turup tuu

>>72449091
Why don't you love it? It's so playful
is there a shittier period in music(other than the 10s) like 86-90?
1420s
>>72449000
83-86 is so much worse than 86-90
>>72449000
2007-2011
Haven't been on /mu/ for about 2 months so I want to be caught up on what you've been listening to! I made a collage of my top 9 so far.
That being said I've only really given 15-20 albums a chance so far this year and have been challenging myself to not read a single review for a new release, so I've been picking blind.
Last two aren't amazing albums but are at least definitely enjoyable.
>>72448977
I'm definitely suck choosing between the Ulver and Gas atm. Good other choices too tho.
>>72449084
Same. They're so good
https://youtu.be/CrBufBilYDw
nothings come close
give me one (1) good reason why you aren't listening to this right now?
>in b4 reeeee i don't speak French
>in b4 generic race comment
I don't know what it is and the look doesn't draw me
>>72448962
this and generic race comment
>>72448942
see that little thing in the bottom left? that usually indicates all i need to know to avoid certain types of music
Should bars be legally required to play hip hop music? Could it be considered a hate crime to only play rock?
of course fucking not. do you really need to ask that here?
>>72448919
You tell me
http://www.dailycardinal.com/article/2017/04/censoring-hip-hop-in-bars-is-racist
>>72448907
yeah, let's just go ahead and make it a crime to be white too
What are The Four Seasons of popular music?
Basically every big record that gets circlejerked here.
MBDTF
TVU&N
ITAOTS
ITCOTKC
OKC/Kid A
etc.
very easy to listen to and appear to be grandiose, but actually very simplistic and far from the most ambitious their respective genres have to offer.
Earth 2
>>72448587
what would be hip hop's most ambitious, maximalist and uplifting album if not MBDTF?
What's wrong with melonhead this year?
He doesn't understand electronic music. We've been over this 1000 times anon.
>What's wrong with melonhead-
He has always been wrong, you noticed just now?
So what do we think about this guy?
>>72448490
I want to eat his steamy shit logs.
>>72448490
that he should stop being spammed on /b/
>guy
So we're back in the late 70's
>electronic dance music (disco) dominates
>mooning a huge trend
>economy is fucked up
>unpopular president is butt of every joke on SNL
>black power is a thing
>Mexican and Native American protest movements are back
>rock music is poppy, losing popularity, and is increasingly aimed at very young children.
>pills and party drugs are more popular than psychedelics
>memes are huge (in the 70s they had them on posters instead of the internet)
>homelessness is a huge epidemic
>edge-lords are everywhere
>cuckoldry and swinging are massively popular
>ridiculous, over the top fashion trends.
>gay culture is huge
>80s coming up
can't wait desu
Whose ass is this? RIS only gets me dunlop tyres.
On topic though, I am not sure rock music will die yet with stuff like Disco Demolition Night happening.
Even The Fall have reincarnated and they're even better this time around.
*listens to U2 once*
>>72448202
shouldn't you have posted The Bends?
>>72448202
talk talk not u2
>>72448202
the bends and OK computer are their U2 albums
this one is more like Coldplay
