Holy fucking shit this is AWFUL. I expected bland, but this is actually offensive in how bad it is. How can anyone defend this thing? 3/10 on a good day maybe (this title track is OK), but wow.

first time i got into joy division, which was when i was 21. i knew it was better straight away. its a lot darker. the second half of the album is so fucking good in a dark Gothic way, you could hear his depression in the lyrics.

Yeah but that shit was far-the-fuck-out. They were more collected after he lost it. They had more of a focus. Although, I bet if he was able to recover enough, they'd have regrouped and made the greatest thing of all time. Madcap Laughs and s/t are bonkers anyways
