I have a question for all the people on /mu/ who know a thing or two about music theory. What makes trap, as in the hip-hop subgenre and not the godawful abomination that is edm trap, so enjoyable? I enjoy a wide variety of music but I often find myself going back to trap if I need something that's fun, enjoyable and easily digestible or when I need something to pump me up. Also just to clarify I'm talking about the kind of trap that got popular in 2010 with the release of Flockaveli, aggressive delivery and flow, rattling high hats, subbass abuse etc.

I will fight anyone who says that Yeezus isn't at least a 7/10 album. If you truly believe Yeezus is bad than you know nothing and I mean NOTHING about music. Seems like most of the hate Yeezus gets is just from butthurt Death Grips fans, the hate has died down a lot in recent years though. The rise of the album on sites like RYM has been nothing short of astronomical, it'll get the top spot of the year by 2020.

The only people who continue to hate on Yeezus are Fantano and his drones who double down on their shitty opinion.
