That was uncalled for though, honestly.
Eh, Dave Rowntree is no ones favorite Blur Member anyway.
Based Graham was busy detoxing, and wasn't involved, so that's all I really care about.
I need help appreciating experimental music, /mu/. Not the whole 'I'm gonna sample this pinecone and then record the feedback from my subwoofer with a dollar general microphone' shtick, but actual experimental music that has a purpose. Pic related is the most crazy I can get, along with Death Grips. I listen to a lot of drone and black metal as well. Anything past that threshold, I can't handle. Tips?

this is one of the best albums of the 21st century, and if you disagree you're either a contrarian or a pleb

>best albums of the 21st centuryou
not that many to choose from m8
>>72743919
I will never understand how people think this garbage album is legitimately great or classic. It's literally music for thots. I guess I'm contrarian or a pleb.

They just have shit taste in music
Notice how people who claim this is a good album listen to nothing outside of hip hop
Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark
Best record
Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark
Dazzle Ships is a masterpiece. I think they'll announce a new record next week they've been teasing it on fb
you first
I unironically like Josh Dun as a drummer but I just can't stand Twenty One Pilots most of the time.
Anything by Toe, LITE, or Menomena
70s: Joni Mitchell
80s: Kate Bush
90s: Bjork
00s: Karin Dreijer
10s: ?????????
10s: Taylor Swift
Could have been Gaga, being the only mega-star of her ilk who actually had talent. The mantle was hers and she either fumbled it or consciously threw it away. Then her evolution slowed.

Lady Lamb of course!
Would you agree or disagree with this assessment?
>60's: Black Sabbath
>70's: Iron Maiden
>80's: Metallica
>90's: Pantera
>00's: Mastodon
>10's: Gojira
What would you swap in or out?
I'm basing this off my own personal assessment of bands as overall originators, their popularity, and their impact on that particular decade of metal, not specifically my "favorite"
There is no band like that for 2010's, yet
60's = Led Zep
70's = Venom
80's = Celtic Frost
90's = Death
00's = Tool
10's = BTBAM
I definitely wouldn't say Gojira since their 10s material is pretty sucky.
If we're going by trends I'd say that Periphery would be the 10s flagbearer (this is not an endorsement of Periphery), or some atmoshit band if you're going into non-mainstream innovation
>tfw you realize that death grips are the limp bizkit of our times

what did he mean by this?
>>72743710
That the defining sound of my teens will be looked back upon as complete cringe. Feels bad.
>implying death grips will be cringe outside of /mu/
What normiecore music do I listen to if I'm between 25-30?
I don't know but I listen to grimes for normie cred.
I don't know if I'm doing it right.
