Learning Unholy Confessions by Avenged Sevenfold on guitar. Thinking about Laid to Rest by Lamb of God, too. Any other fun metal songs around that skill level you suggest I learn?
drop that buttmetal
learn Metallica and slayer songs
then move on to slayer
then move on to Incantation
then move on to Disma
then move on to a noose

Racer X - Technical Difficulties
Van Halen - Ain't Talking About Love
Angel Witch - Angel Witch
Some of the easier songs for beginners

Opening riff to unholy confessions is pretty fun to play, but you're better off learning something not shit.
Maybe learn the scales and start improvising songs instead - you'll get good way more effectively

Every other vaporwave artist just wants to make some chill 80s-inspired beats but this pretentious asshole thinks he's an actual artist lol
>>74904656
>implying le chill 80s beats are good
>how dare he not make the same album over and over again wahhhhhh :(:(:(:(:(
What are your honest mu/pinions on this work of art?
pretty good
It's okay I guess
I don't get the appeal. Sounds like any other 60s dadpsychrock album to me.
What am I missing here? Ys is probably my favourite album but this feels so shallow in comparison.

I think it combines the intimacy of The Milk Eyed Mender with the complex structures of Ys to create a moving album.

I have literally just finished listening to it for the first time. Loved it. It can be more daunting than her previous works, but you can't say it's shallow
It's more conventional, restrained and personal which is probably what you're picking up on, but I wouldn't call that "shallow". I don't know what to say other than just spend more time with the songs. As much as I love and admire Ys, parts of it just feel like Joanna showing off (which isn't a huge criticism, the fact that she can even "show off" through songwriting shows how adept she is at it) while everything on Have One On Me is purposed and dripping with sincerity.
At the risk of sounding like some corny tumblr post, Ys wows me with its grandeur, HOOM devastates me with its heart.

I got free tickets for an Arcade Fire concert, Thought a few tracks on Everything now we're good but mainly a fan of the old stuff. Am i gonna be disappointed?
I'm in the same boat. I detest their new album but I've been a fan for a long time and I've never seen them so I bought tickets. I really hope 80% of the show isn't Everything Now.
No. If you can't generally enjoy live music you should probably just kill yourself
