Big Brother's good if slow. The other isn't the best for casual listening, but it has a good, grinding sound and works for its purpose, the impression of some creeping doom or chase. It works really well when you remember the whole thing is 1984.

Deathrock is more punky while Goth rock is somber and atmospheric

Deathrock is harder and much heavier on the punk/hardcore influence. Samhain is deathrock(and they also had a pretty unique sound going on, so I'm not sure you're gonna have much luck finding more stuff that sounds like them; I always thought it was a shame Glenn and company didn't put out at least one more proper Samhain album before moving onto the more straightforward and muscular metal sound of Danzig).

Gothic rock is less aggressive and more cerebral. The Cure's Pornography is goth rock, as is the first Sisters Of Mercy album.
