To answer OP, I would see thundercat, the flaming lips, the avalanches, dj shadow & maybe go see ride. Overall that festival had a shit line-up. If not going is an option I would look for a better festival.

Kris Kristofferson wrote Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down and he's pretty solid besides that, but other than that you're outta luck

There's an argument that HAA is in fact their best from the perspective that it is a legitimate concept album and a protest album. The intentionally abrasive and repetitive structure is reinforced by the theme. Their other albums, while perhaps more appealing or joyful are lacking in message or theme and are therefore superficial pop. It's an interesting argument. You have to decide what you value most in music: the pure sonic pleasure or the artist's intent.

A Fender is probably your best bet. Alot of pedal manufacturers design their pedals with Fender in mind. That Twin reverb though is really fucking loud. Go for the Deluxe reverb

I have a piece of shit line 6 spider meme amp I bought when I was like 16, but now I want to actually learn guitar instead of noodle around and play pleb songs. I don't want to spend 1k on a big twin reverb but I want something that I can practice on in my apartment without pissing off my roommates too much, also a good clean amp that I can run a pedal orgy through

How loud? A Twin is Damn. Fucking. Loud. If you're playing larger shows, or absolutely need 125 Decibels of ear shredding clean, yeah, a Twin will do.

If you play at home or do occasional small shows/mic'd medium venues, something in the 35-45 watts would be good, like a Vibrolux. A Super Reverb is super clean and loud due to 4x10 cab, but its like 40 watts. Another great versatile choice.

Even a Deluxe will be very clean, but it'll break up far sooner and you'd have to mic it if you want very loud+clean in a band.
Deluxe Reverbs are great and plenty loud and clean if you're only at home.

You'd be shocked at how loud a 15-20 watt tube amp can be - especially one designed to be clean. You could nearly deafen your roommates if you tried with a Deluxe. Go try one out to get a feel for the volume. It may be perfect for you.
