What's your favorite Elton John song?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHwVBirqD2s
As Cliché as it seems, but Tiny Dancer. It's just a great song.
Mellow
O damn
oh fuck. no. I don't want this. I listened to that interview he did not too long ago and it was hard to sit through.
Why hasn't Maron gotten Kozelek on yet? That just seems like an obvious get. They even get nostalgic over the small parts they had in the same movie
Hopefully this turns out well.
Maron can be fucking unlistenable when it comes to interviewing people outside of comedy. He's a comedian so he gets comedians. I'm not sure why he talks to directors like he's a director or musicians like he's a musician because it's embarrassing. The Kim Gordon interview is painful at times.
What does /mu/ think of Donald Glover retiring his music persona Childish Gambino?
>>73242310
technically he could just start a funk band under a new name.
I think its pretty hilarious that after a decade of p4k trying and failing at killing his career he's going out on his own volition at the peak of his entertainment career
he's a terrible rapper and an average funk singer... he's better just sticking to films...
All of the songs are too long.
They're also too terrible.

Any more examples of this? I find the hypocrisy fascinating.
Memphis rap is fucking awful and I'm convinced people saying they enjoy it is just a giant joke I'm not in on.

Everyone here likes the same shit, I've had to filter so much I only have like four threads and whatever new one pops up

This and I'd like to add dj screw to that
i hate my life and i want to die.
music, which was my profession for many years, has slowly become my hobby. as a result of having two children, i am officially a wageslave. i am no longer in love with my wife. every day i wake up, i want to smother my wife and kids in their sleep and then hang myself. or maybe drive to the beach and drown myself in the ocean... but i don't have the balls.

How important are vocals in music. Would you listen to a song just for energetic/charismatic vocals?
>>73241327
Vocals are important but even shit like mumble rap and skatting that dont really care about vocals can be alright.
>>73241327
Vocals can be the entire music:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRfF7W4El60
You can have songs that are entirely vocals and songs with no vocals at all.
It completely runs the gamut.

It's an amazing album, I think that all of the songs except LCB are at least an 8/10 and multiple are 10/10. People who shit on it are weird.

I only like "We Share Our Mother's Health" from that album.
Not because all the other tracks on it are bad or anything, i'm just too much of a pleb to truly appreciate The Knife past a bunch of key tracks in theid discography.

You don't even like the title track?
