Admit it, you wouldn't know if their new album was bad or not until you saw the fantano review.
Well every album has been bad so far, i don't see why that would change now

Monomania is an underappreciated album in general, THM is an especially good track. I can understand people ripping into it somewhat due its more straight-forward nature though they handle the American post-punk revival sound very well, Back to the Middle is a great example of such with the Strokes-influenced bridge that is oh so pleasant to listen to.

The Residents made a new composition entirely of samples of the Beatles' tunes before the Beatles officially did the same thing years later. This is actually one of the first notable instances of Plunderphonics as well btw.
I've been looking for this song for the past three years now and all I have to go by is this old video which features the song. https://youtu.be/g453D744Zf0

Anyone think they might know what this song is called?
So I'm heading off to college soon and I want to bring some of my records with me but I'm not sure about my turntable set up. I currently have a GLI pro bd-1600 and some shitty speakers. I don't have too much money but I want to get some speakers that will sound okay and be semi-portable. What speakers would /mu/ suggest that I get, and should I consider getting a new turntable too? Thanks for the input. Have a nice day.
