Philip Glass came out with a new symphony this year, and /mu/ completely ignored it. Daily reminder that you are all plebs.
the only decent thing he wrote was Einstein

Literally who.
can you link me the symphony? oh wait, you can't.
that's why we have "ignored" it.
Is this actually worth finding?
What on here is worth keeping?
I know some of it is just mislabelled but it seems worth at least hearing some of these b-sides

What are some good songs if you are depressed?
Everything on Deathconsciousness, Giles Corey, and Hinterkaifeck

The Beatles
Most music is good. Depression is kinda like a drug.

Reminder that the summer is the best time to listen to them, in the calm night sun where everything stands still but you can hear and see life.
>>73220174
>Implying you didn't play this album to death in the late 00s and that listening to it now only rehashes terrible memories of going to skramz shows and drinking beer you found in the back of the garage fridge even though you hate the taste

When is the new Ann Erine Clarke album coming out exactly?
Is it comfirmed that it will be exclusively anti-Trump/fascism yet? Cause if it isn't, I ain't gonna listen to it, or any of her other shit again.
McCartney >>>>>>>>>> Lennon > Harrison > Starr
and it's not even close

Yet, Ringo wrote Octopus's Garden, literally the greatest Beatles song.
Checkmate.
Pete Best >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>RINGO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>JOHN PAUL GEORGE.no disputing this
>>73220162
Worst Ringo song. I really like Photograph and Don't Pass Me By too.
Really love the semi creepy low fi mood of this album particularly on its version of "Wind Chimes", anything similar to this I could listen to?
>>73220120
their next two albums have a similar feel

Little Pad is god level

how the fuck is this low fi?
Been messing around with an alternate track listing for Sgt. Pepper's since the nigger bass version came out. I think it sounds pretty cohesive like this, could probably be tweaked but you get the gist. First three and last three songs are definite but the middle I'm not 100% on. I know it seems obvious to "reverse" the beginning and ending tracks but I honestly think it's just as effective this way. Thoughts?
*Delete When I'm 64, Within You Without You, and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds for obvious reasons* (LSD is perhaps debatable, the other two aren't)
1. Good Morning, Good Morning
2. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)
3. A Day in the Life
4. Lovely Rita
5. She's Leaving Home
6. Getting Better
7. Fixing a Hole
8. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kike!
9. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
10. With a Little Help from My Friends
Also, alternate Beatles album track listing general I guess. Been trying to put together a single album of their early stuff with none of the filler or covers.
>>73220047
I don't know call me a rockist but Sgt Pepper is one of the few albums whose tracklisting I wouldn't touch, ethically and objectively it's perfect
>>73220047
That's the shittiest tracklist reimagining for Pepper I've ever seen. Kudos
