yea, thats what i heard it from, it sounds familiar
>>73221721
nah. Gibsons still have the best six string sound. But as for bass
Rick 12 strings are fine if you want to sound like 65-66 era Beatles or Roger McGuinn but I find the sound very limiting.
I'd rather play a Gibson Les Paul or SG myself.

Bunch of plebs think they know guitar.
A nice 60s strat or Epiphone casino will do the job, far more better than your sissy les paul and sg
Truly the greatest source to download music.
Indeed.

Simple and effective.
what is it
i'm gonna buy a keyboard, but it is from someone else, although he says it's in a good condition, i wanna be sure that it is, so the question is
and a retarded one it is
, what can i test or search for in the keyboard, to prove that is indeed in a good condition, appart from just playing it
>>73221653
Depends what it is. A good 90% of keyboards people have sitting around are shit to begin with.
>>73221673
it's a casio keyboard, ctk 4400, not great but it does the job
I was commenting in one someone had just made but they deleted the thread, so I'm remaking it.

Hi friendo

Anything you recommend from this year?
You might like the album Dust by Mt Mountain.

James Ferraro - Rerex 1
I'm basing this on nothing other than the fact that you have a lot of ocean album covers.

Is listening to popular music a waste of time?
tell me one thing that is not a waste of time
who cares, the universe is going to end anyway

Talk about throwing rocks in glass houses
Mark Linkous >> Elliott Smith
>>73221617
Mark Kozelek >> Both of those fagits because he's man enough to stay alive
>>73221634
OP here I agree
Problem mostly is that Elliott Smith is such an overrated bitch and faggot
Gold Day is somehow one of the most depressing songs I've ever heard.
Do i go for the best of compilations of the really big groups like chic, kool and the gang and earth wind and fire or are there some essential albums i should check out
Funkadelic released a few great studio albums.
both are great because there are a lot of groups that only got by with great singles but definitely check out the first earth wind and fire album. Sly and the family stone has a perfect trilogy of albums from stand to fresh. the meters early stuff is great too and i know it sounds basic but james brown's output from the late sixties and early seventies is really dank. Dont forget afrobeat too cause that shit is basically the krautrock of funk

The Isley Brothers had a run of great albums from 1972-1978
Thoughts on his discography?
