Anyone else enjoying the new Zola Jesus?

I've only listened to Versions back in the day and I recall being so-so about it. Decided to give her latest a go and really enjoyed it. I don't think it releases until later this week but it's out there in 320 for anyone curious. In love with the production like most things on Sacred Bones.

With that being said, is it marginally better than anything else she's done? Is it worth going back to explore more of her discography compared to Okovi? I know for a fact that Versions didn't have this kind of umph but I have no clue about her other work.

I'm on Linux, so I use calf compressors.
I can't imagine there to be a great difference in the way different compressors work.

this board is getting exhausting. i can't keep up. i always feel bad that i can't be into weird otherworldly music, i feel left out, i feel inferior, and the pressure to always be into patrician music is very exhausting. thanks /mu/, now i don't like music. because i'd rather not listen to anything than listening to plebeian stuffs.
