For you peeps who play with sheet music, where do you find sheets? I'm trying to learn how to improv over Chick Coreas Spain but I can't really guarantee if the sheets I find are accurate or not
>>75164472
transcribe and make sheet it's not easy to find sheets unless you buy books or look online for a good 20 minutes
how to turn this into an actual piece/song
that riff been laying around for literally two years

I see all the cool kids have turned against Radiohead lately. What's the patrician alternative to Kid A and OK Computer that I should be listening to instead?

>this is a genuine question
jesus, how embarrassing
>>75164414
so this came out today. it would be better as a real estate album, but i generally like ducktails. his vocals just feel phoned in. thoughts?
appropriating japanese culture for the esthetic, how embarrassing
>>75164389
I don't agree, but why is that a thing now?
This, the last Neon Indian album, the upcoming Horrors album, Grimes' last album, all do it
>>75164404
because of vaporwave and stupid shit like that
>rapper spend 14 minutes before the track starts giving shoutouts to the west side, the east side, the north side, the south side, and his niggas in A-T-L, New York, Memphis, St. Louis, Gary Indiana, Duluth Minnesota, Tuscaloosa Alabama, Chattanooga Tennessee, Myrtle Beach, Pierre South Dakota, his homies in the hood, on the streets, the blocks, the avenues, the boulevards, the corners, the trap, the pen, the big house, the graveyard and all the boys holding down the Shadow Realm and other immaterial realms which are too numerous to be specified
>with the formalities out of the way the producer starts screaming his name in my ears
>rap man tells me "I'm not ready for this one"
>rap man reminds me what album I'm listening to
>rap man reminds me which year said album was recorded in
>rap man reminds me where he is in the "rap game" (at the top, of course)
>rap man tells me his name, moniker, "rap name", or all three
>rap man tells me he's "going in" before starting a verse
>rap man says "uh... yeah"
>tells his producer to turn it up a bit
>'yeah yeah i like that one, uh'
>flicks his lighter
>bubbling noises
>coughs
>laughs
>track ends

Guys i want to make music.Which daw do you suggest? Ableton? fl?
Do you know how i can headstart this is there any guide or something like that?
Hello m8. What kind of music do you want to start to make? Is it (instrumental) hip hop like the picture you posted? Post some ideas of the genre. Be specific and i'll help.
for me personally ,i've found working with old gear, a sampler, small synth and sequencer, mixing board and a microphone yields better results for me than just diving headfirst into a DAW
hip hop,electronic etc.
*deletes the entire album*
*deletes entire discography*
Yup, that's better, I'm not 13 anymore
>>75164219
this
I mean, I liked more of the songs from the iPad album than this PoS
>>75164238
Agreed.
>someone tells me he "plays" an instrument
>he can't play all of his major/minor scales and arpeggios fluidly and effortlessly, improvise proficiently in a jazz setting, and play at least three pieces from the instrument's classical repertoire
You can't do it either
>>75164090
Outside of the jazz improv part, these are totally normal expectations of someone who plays an instrument, unless they are still learning (less than 3 months of experience)
>>75164124
Then they are "learning an instrument"
>In Los Ageless, the women never come
>In Los Ageless, the mothers milk their young

>Los Ageless
This has to be the most cringeworthy attempt at social criticism I've ever heard. Do people unironically listen to this shit?

Why was Morrissey the only one to have any real success after they split up?
Marr had success, he just chose to work with other bands instead of go solo.
I dunno.
Morrissy is an interesting guy i guess.
Sometimes you just wonder what morrissy is doing right now

Moz was still an excellent lyricist and melodist for some time (1988-1994). Barring Kill Uncle, he also had good taste in producers.
