What's up with prog rock artists going pop rock? Why does it happen this often?
Money?
It was the 80's and prog rock lost whatever popularity it had in the 70's after punk and new wave came. Most of those bands were trying to stay relevant.
it's always been hard for me to differentiate between pop rock and prog rock
spotify premium ended. link for this masterpiece pls?
also: Saturation is AOTY
Anyone else listen to the first track and expect something more exciting?
>I'LL BREAK YOUR NECK SO YOU CAN WATCH YOUR BACK

yeah I agree. I think they are just trying to showcase as much variety and talent as possible in one package. Deff capable of bringing some fire though.

Did you know that the bloke who produced Charles Manson's demos that he would release after Manson's imprisonment as Lie: The Love and Terror Cult was the same guy that stole Gram Parsons' body from the airport as it was being prepared to be sent back to his home state to be buried, and then drove it to the Joshua Tree and burned it in front of it instead and is also the same geezer that inspired Frank Zappa to write Why Does it Hurt When I Pee? on Joe's Garage by asking Frank Zappa that very question?
Does /mu/ like experimental rock?

"twist" reminds me of avant prog / zheul band ruins
I hate Korn, but I do like Primus, Butthole Surfers, Ween, Artificial Brain etc.
>>73349929
if you hate korn you have no appreciation for true avant-garde music
>>73349701
protip: it's usually the label/artist that does this, not spotify micromanaging every single artist you enjoy
