Have you listened to Sweet Child o Mine today yet /mu/?
Just woke up, made some coffee and now I'm on my 8th listen today.
>>73474392
just finished. on my 9th listen now lads
10th listen now lads
11th listen. Slash's guitar riff is so rejuvenating each time i hear it.
10/10
not as good as debut
but I'd probs give it a 8.5 - 9/10
Pure Comedy is better
>>73474140
You meant 10/100, right?
Gimme raw, rough, depressing, dark summer music
>>73472803
bump for this, I know several depressing albums but I'm interested to see what could sound like "dark summer music"
Slowcore in general? Has a twinkly summer feel, yet is dark.

what was he doing before death grips succeed?
I know he was rapping before, but he didn't seem to be popular at all.
what was his work before the band?
they kidnapped him from a homeless encampment
>>73472373
I vaguely remember something about pizza delivery.
>>73472373
>what was his work before the band?
He was homeless. So to answer your question; i'll respond with a quote by Pat the Bunny:
>If you don't want to work, then that becomes your job. There's a lot of overtime, there are not a lot of days off.
i need recs

Was glam rock really that terrible or was it just memes perpetrated by edgelords in the 90s after grunge took over?
>>73471171
Glam rock is proto-punk made by homos
You're talking about Glam Metal
It was fun as fuck and only beta males disagree
Shit talking glam metal was perpetuated by record company marketing teams in the 90's after they stopped making them money.
Glam metal was an early to mid-80s thing, after 1985 it was just a self-parody made of manufactured boybands that the record industry kept alive artificially for a few more years.
80s glam to 70s glam like eno and roxy music is like brostep to actual dubstep
Let's be frank - the last one is a corpse

RECS

>always avoid this album and band because the name and cover looks like an emo/my chemical romance rip off.
>it's constantly posted on /mu/
>"Fuck it, lets do some quick research"
>ohhh, it's from 1991, and the album scores are 9 or 10/10 everywhere.
>praised by Reznor and Corgan to the point where they admit to ripping it off.
>"holy shit, must get it"
>get Loveless
>first track - "Fuck yeah, that's awesome. This is gunna kick ass"
>2nd track "ehh, nothing great about that
>3rd track "crap again"
>4th track "more crap"
>repeat for all tracks
Did I fall for a meme band?
>get the MBV album because its the supposedly the pinnacle of their sound
>hate every single track
What the fuck /mu/? You sure you aren't memeing me?
I don't need easy listening music. I've spent the last couple of decades listening to fucked up industrial sub genres, so that's not it.
WHAT THE FUCK?

trash her style and invite her to learn from you
(she won't learn anything but she might suck your dick)
Tease her good-naturedly. Stare at her for a minute with obvious mirth on your face and when she catches on, say something like: I'm just trying to figure out how you came up with that outfit.
She'll saying something like what's wrong with it
You say: nothing, it just tells me you're single (she might not be but run with it)
How does it do that?
Because if you had a man he would tell you not to wear that goofy ass shit haha
Once you've thrown her off balance she's easy pickings for your dickings
>>73468592
eh, its not my favorite, but its aight.
I have to be in the right mood for vacuum cleaners. Sometimes it does it for me, sometimes it doesnt.

Dubstep or Vaporwave?
>>73468139
Dubstep
I've heard some truly amazing stuff from vaporwave, even if it is 90% schlock. Cinema might be the only dubstep song that still holds up a mere five years after the genre peaked.
>>73468186
What are your favorite vaporwave albums?
>>73468219
not him but these 6 are probably my most replayed

Can't stand this cunt
Yeah he had a lot of nerve writing the greatest solo folk album of the last 30 years
>>73466772
he was literally playing punk on an acoustic
isn't he a huge libertarian? i knew there was a reason i hated him
Albums that make you feel like you've acended to a higher plane of existence.
>>73465460
not in an entirely good way though
it's more like a descent into hell desu
but like, the actual hell where you are in a deep pit of nothing, completely cut off from the light of any sort of higher power, not the edgy fire and brimstone hell of Dante
The second half of this album seem to last three hours or four minutes. I'm always in a sort of daze once it starts getting weird.
This is not as good as Kid A.
it's better
>>73463477
yep, Kid A is better but this not make amnesiac a bad album, just Kid A is better than anything
>>73463477
It has to be one of their worst albums, yet it still has some of their best songs. It's just a little inconsistent.
my junior year was pretty much this on repeat
this basically got me into music. not one I play often, but I still like it.
