Was it any good? Am I about to waste the next 40+ minutes finding out? What did you guys think of this? Archive is fucked up so I can't see if this was already discussed or not.
Just listen to the album you fucking faggot
its good ull like it
>>73480030
Dude it's lord. A talentless tool for big music corporates to make soulless, monkeymaking music
Name a great song for closing concerts
>not even gonna mention it
>>73479939
Steven Wilson ended on the closing/title track for this.
Holy fuck was that probably the best closer I've ever experienced
Litterally every song on To Be Kind would make a good concert closer
>>73480840
Kek, forgot to post file
One question:
Have you done your part this month?
Yep. I've finally started listening to Funkadelic
>Black Music Month
jamming Burzum right now
Singles or albums band?
>>73479902
Both desu
>>73480167
Not an answer. Try again.
>>73480831
Is so an answer, cunt!
>hear a track or two that you love by an artist
>listen to the rest of their stuff
>its sounds nothing like what you previously heard or expected
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOHcBoreywk
Anyone go any other examples?
>tfw people are looking into Waddy's pre-Die Antwoord stuff that isn't The Ziggurat
There's hope for this board.
>>73479991
I don't even like Die Antwoord that much, do they have anything else that is similar to the song I posted?
>>73479894
>artists changes their sound because they realized they've maxed its potential
>normies get mad
top kek
I liked Contact by Pharmakon and World Eater by Black Mass. What else should I listen to? What similar releases have come this year? Are they (2 mentioned albums) the same genre? I'm not into this kind of music but I'd like to get into
>>73479816
This cover is fucking disgusting.
>>73479885
This. It sets off my germaphobia like no other.
>>73479935
>>73479885

How did you feel when a Redditor completely btfo /metal/?
Link here (continue down the comments chain): >>73476900
Truly upvote worthy!
>>73479737
Third for Deathspell Omega is for basic bitches who can't into real metal with real substance
I want more bands that sound like AnCo
>>73479628
too bad. Nobody really sounds like them.
listen to their solo projects tho
>>73479628
Which phase?
>>73479700
any except for post-MPP
Why aren't there more groups like Death Grips? Too obscure?
>>73479562
there are, but only dalek is any good
ho99o9 and blackie are lame and clipping is wasted potential
they occupy a small niche to begin with and they sucked up all of it
not many people like aggressive electronic pseudo punk rap
They are great. I just wish their fans weren't so toxic.
Have a slight problem. Bought tickets for sold out radiohead gig. Bought two, one for me and one for my friend who's also a huge radiohead fan. I was going to surprise my friend with the tickets the week before the gig.
But I got with a girl a few weeks ago and was thinking of taking her. When I asked if she liked radiohead, she said "I love CREEP and High and Dry!" Inside I wanted to gauge her eyes out but she has nice tits and ass.
What do /mu/?
fuck that dude go with your friend. Sounds like this girl will probably disappear from your life soon anyways if she really is that normie so just take her to something she will enjoy as well, because shell probably enjoy it as much as radiohead.
take your mate
I'd say go with your friend. The whole ordeal is gonna be not that enjoyable for the girl, but it'll be one hell of a thing for your friend. And while I hate to go all "bros before hoes" in here - dude, it's better to keep that friendship; even if she has nice tits and ass you can probably get another girl, replacing a friend is much more difficult.
How do I get into Radiohead? I really like Idioteque, but that's about it.
listen to Kid A
>>73479462
Now listen to the other 9 songs on that album dumbass
Listen to Kid A and OK Computer. If you like the rock stuff from OKC a lot more, listen to the Bends. If you like the electronic stuff from Kid A a lot more, listen to Amnesiac. If you want something in between, listen to In Rainbows. After that, order shouldn't matter too much. Probably don't listen to Pablo Honey until you're done with everything else though.
Give some good french music, I only know Noir Dez and shugazi bands like LantlĂ´s or Alcest, so I want to dive more.
La femme is pretty rad, if you like poppy psychedelic music.
Yves Montand
My father passed away this morning after a long and painful fight with lung cancer. What are some songs that will help me get all the tears out (yes I'm crying about it fuck you he's my dad) and move forward like he wanted me to?
Don't smoke kids. You're not just hurting yourself in the long run...

Are there actual adults that are still fans of Tool long after they have graduated from high school?
Yes. They're a favorite of two groups: nerdy music academics with terrible taste, and normies in their mid 30s who were also into stuff like NIN and White Zombie.
>>73479332
22, big high school fan of their work.
Most of it just doesn't appeal to me now, there are a few songs I like for nostalgic purposes.
Yep
What does /mu/ think of power metal bands like sabaton?
videogamemusic-core.
Sabaton is a damn enjoyable band even if they've essentially have made about twelve relatively original songs total and then completely reused them over and over as a base during all their albums.
Still love them, though, their shows are great.
>>73479306
w-w-what do you mean? Coat of Arms and The Last Stand are totally different songs, r-right?
