Around the turn of the century, it seems Scaruffi the ethereal became much more critical and gave fewer high scores. Of course, I think music did drop overall around that time, but albums like Mount Eerie and STGSTV (Just two, Im sure you could make a case for others) sound like albums he'd give 8.0s and above. He gave very positive reviews in the descriptions yet gave both his new placeholder for albums he seems to like (7.5). He also draws comparisons to other albums which really aren't there. And now his majesty hardly releases new reviews.
Did il Magnifico give up on music as a medium or did music give up on him? Has it really dropped off so far?
>>73617349
fuck your stupid '''plants''' and their meaningless '''ratings'''. No one is buying it.
>>73617368
Hmmm...
>>73617349
The ratings can always be revised you know
She's the anime chick who does covers of rap songs. Does wanting to have sex with her voice make me a weeb
I used to watch her videos back in the day when she went on 4chan but ever since she went full on Tumblr SJW attention whore I stopped bothering
>>73617174
I listen to her unironically.
I also want to have sex with her voice, but I am a weeb.
I didn't know she looked like that; I always assumed she would be a hamplanet.

Opinions on vaporwave
Here are mine
I like it it's actually kind of cool although the fact that most of the work is just altered from other peoples work keeps me from really getting into it
I feel if people actually composed their own pieces I would get into it more
Will vaporwave come back if people start doing this more?
Should vaporwave come back?
Do you take it seriously or is it a meme to you?
So many questions so little time
Vaporwave is undead
vapor is dead, neighbourwave is up next

How to grow out of Mr. Bungle?
>>73616971
Smoke meth.
1. go inside your garage
2. turn on your car
3. roll the windows up
4. wait
>>73616982
that's how you get into Mr. Bungle
I don't get how people can listen to rock and not eventually move on to metal. Metal is rock's logical progression and conclusion, unless you're a diehard dadrocker pleb, why would you just settle for all the boring varieties of rock?
it's like I'm really on youtube
nice job outing yourself as a teenager by using "dadrock" as a pejorative btw
blame metals image

>I don't get how people can listen to rock and not eventually move on to metal.
Because I'm not into manchildren posturing false masculinity and edginess. Sorry
So are you a song guy, an album guy, or a discography guy?
I like albums (pic related, it's the only Steven Wilson I listen to)
>>73616954
albums > discographies > songs
the best albums are the ones that are sequenced purposefully, where every single track adds something to the overall experience
there aren't too many bands that i've bothered to check out their complete discog although it's admittedly nice when a band only has 1-2 releases to their name
>>73616954
Depends on what you mean by discography, senpai. Just listening to a band's material all spread out, or going through every last thing?
Also the title track of album is the honestly the best modern prog track I've ever heard.
>>73617088
OP here, I agree that the best albums are sequenced. I get really disappointed when a good band puts out an unsequenced or unthemed album. That's the only time I listen to individual tracks is when I find an artist that's good but doesn't know how to make a real album to save their soul
What do you think about Toro y Moi
>>73616818
He's cute and I loved his input on The Avalanches' Wildflower
Good shit, can't wait for his new album.
He's gud
