Is there any other band like Megadeth?
>>73660212
Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer.
>>73660241
duuuude that's obvious its the big four i mean other lesser known bands
>>73660212
When it came to classic thrash, and still to this day with what's left of thrash, Megadeth were always known for being the best musician wise. They had Poland and Friedman and now have Loureiro, and they're all miles ahead of anyone else.
Dave shits all over anyone in Metallica, and his rhythms that he also happens to sing over are crazy technical compared to anything Slayer does. Slayer is fast, Megadeth is fast and technical. Metallica isn't even thrash, it's fucking hard rock.
That all being said, Exodus is really good and still fast and heavy and also pretty technical. Gary Holt is hugely underrated and one of the best guitarists in the genre.
Ahhh much better

I'm not sure how this will manifest in your reality, but you should get this message. I'm the Entity that put you here in this existence, and all of your kind. I can't say much that you would comprehend with your primitive understanding of reality but I will attempt to put it in a way you could follow using your native language: I am the north entity, my partner is the south entity, he is "evil" as you call it. Your entire reality is constructed by south entity as an experiment of psychological nature. South entity wants to test your faith, even when no evidence is present. Please. Believe in a god. Any god. Else you will perish in pain and suffering. South entity is sick and I'm trying to save your kind.I have given your kind feeling and faith but its not enough. Please believe

wtf, i just wanted jew memes not this shit
What do you guys think of Dead End Hip Hop?
I wish there was an equivalent for other things. Dead End Rock, Dead End Bleeps, Dead End Jazz. Dead End Vidya, Dead End Anime, Dead End Capeshit. I don't give a fuck about sports unfortunately.
I enjoy listen to their honest opinions on albums, and I specifically like Myke C Town along with his solo channel, Beezy is cool too though.
I think Myke knows what he's talking about when it comes to music. It always surprises me that he's nowhere near as popular as Fantano. Probably because he doesn't rely on memespewing.

Why is blatantly shitty female fronted twee pop doing so well? This broad's got like 1500 supporters for her dumpster fire album, and it has the musical quality of literal garbage.
Is it (((them)))? Is this part of their plan to collapse western civilization? What can be done?

Why does nobody use the word "techno" anymore? Is that just what people used to call EDM back in the 90s, or is techno its own separate genre?
I think it is its own separate thing. There's so much minutiae in EDM that an even-slightly-diverging-from-the-norm beat essentially establishes a new subgenre.
>>73659680
Techno is its own seperate genre within EDM. Even back when it was used as a generic word for EDM by normies it was a different genre from other EDM genres like House and Electro.

Does anybody have any experience with this pedal? Is it any good? What other metal pedals should I look into? Delay pedals? Post your gear, y'all.
I should note I'm looking for good pedals for harsh noise, so if that's what you make, I'd really love some input.
Oh also, if you have amp recommendations, I'm open to those as well. I've been using my monitors.
Never owned one but I think MXR is a pretty reputable brand.

I don't get it. It just sounds like emotional guitar noodling to me.
Can anybody smarter than me explain this album to me?

if you dont like it dont force it.

This, but to answer your question without thinking too much about it myself, there are few albums that really capture the brooding atmosphere on this record. Plus this album was super influential for a lot of underground bands that came afterwards.

I'm a bit more of a loner, and I'm the type of loner who doesn't like to be alone but I'm just so socially autistic that making friends is very difficult for me, so this album hit me right in the fucking gut. I don't think everyone who enjoys it is like that, but I think that it does capture that feeling better than anything
In 1977, a space program by NASA was started, called the Voyager Program.
It was a probe send out into deep space, to depict our coordinates in the universe, but also what life was like on earth. It included many photographs, 'brainwaves' by scientist Ann Duran where it was recorded how to 'feel' like a human being about what we humans experience. It also included a phonograph with music, including Mozart, Beethoven, but also Azerbaijani folk music and Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B. Goode', one of the first popular rock songs ever.
It was designed to be found by extraterrestrial life or by far future generations as a time capsule.
The message was also endorsed by president Jimmy Carter: Stating: "This is a present from a small, distant world, a token of our sounds, our science, our images, our music, our thoughts and our feelings. We are attempting to survive our time so we may live into yours."
The probe has, only a few years ago, reached deep space, to reach into the stars. No other manmade craft has ever been as far as the Voyager probe.
Now, the year is 2017. NASA decided to use the 30 years of experience and technology to send another probe into space with the same goal as the Voyager once did. A fellow from NASA comes up to you and asks you this once simple thing:
"Which song should be added to the new probe?"
