Music you discovered, enjoyed, and developed a deeper appreciation for because of music from Tony Hawk or GTA.

would this collaboration be the logical end of /mu/?
>>73688458
No. Grimes and Bjork: now we're talking. Could you imagine the reaction of /mu/?
It would only make Grimeposting worse
It would be nice if you posted the full link OP? Are we just supposed to guess?
I started properly listening and learning about composition and now I can't enjoy rock music anymore, as it sounds too repetitive to me, and therefore un-melodious. Is this good or bad? I can't really tell
>>73688371
Repetition isn't inherently bad. What 'rock' did you like before that you don't like now?
I've had a similar experience where the more you learn about music theory and writing, you look at music differently as a whole. And yeah, this pretty much means you appreciate certain genres more or less based on your newfound understanding of how music works and what it is. Whether it's a hobby or a career for you, learning more about music is always good in the end, I guess just keep things in perspective when weighing factual knowledge and your own perception of things.
Rock music is garbage, but not because of its repetitive character. What do you think of minimalist New York School of composers?
1. Fleet Foxes - Crack-Up
2. Sun Kil Moon - Common as Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood
3. Neil Cicierega - Mouth Moods
4. The Mountain Goats - Goths
5. Kirin J. Callinan - Bravado
6. Brockhampton - Saturation
7. Father John Misty - Pure Comedy
8. Ibibio Sound Machine - Uyai
9. Mount Eerie - A Crow Looked At Me
10. Feist - Pleasure
11. Xiu Xiu - Forget
12. Idles - Brutalism
13. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Flying Microtonal Banana
14. Wiley - Godfather
15. Elder - Reflections of a Floating World
16. Perfume Genius - No Shape

One good album on this list and that album has the song of the decade on it
>>73688451
"AC/VC" from Mouth Moods, right?
wtf, grindcore is actual music
Side B of Scum is pretty weak. The Bullen/Broadrick/Harris side is a masterwork though.

Radiohead is the most overrated "band" of all time. They make pop music disguised as art and you faggots eat it all up like the retards you are. LISTEN, this shit is not NOT art. Everything they did with albums OK Computer and onward had been done MANY times before, but they just made them digestible for kissless virgin teens who think to delude themselves into thinking that their taste in music is a sign of intellectual superiority.
Thom Yorke is a jerk. He's puts on a facade of whatever he thinks will get him an in with the young'uns. The blonde and borderline autistic man he was in the Pablo Honey era, the quiet and mysterious yet """cute""" guy he pretended to be in the Alright Computer era, and then the enigmatic and politically driven individual he pretends to be now. But fools like you don't look past this obvious marketing ruse and think of him as the greatest genius of this generation.
I'd like to piss down the throats of everyone who thinks Radohed is a good band and make good music. Get some taste you fucking retards.
>>73687978
explain why their music is bad
Give me a 500 word essay on why their music is bad in the grand scheme of art and pop music using music theory
>>73687978
Ok, but why does that make their music bad?
