Considering all the meme threads on the green faggot, what would you guys consider to be the greatest album cover of all time? Personally, I think album art is usually stupid bullshit but I would vote for pic related. If not the best, it's easily the most iconic.
why not

Let's talk about the best artist of this decade aka Grimey aka Claire Boucher.
Remember: Be nice to Grimes :)

Grimes is not a very good artist. Hides her mediocre songwriting and voice under several "eerie" layers of amateurish bleepity-bloops.

*bullies you*
/rock/ //RAW acoustic drum samples
I know i can just dump some distortion and reverb on snare samples but I hate that everything people put in their packs is already processed. I want something to better fit like it was a shitty garage band .... studio drummer in kontakt is way too clean, though some of kontakts distortion makes it sound pretty cool
have any of you found such raw samples digging around?
How do you guys feel about Boulez?

I HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR /mu/
I've been trying to find this song for 15 years and counting, it definitely should be around the 50/40's era. The biggest clue I've got is that the guy sings ''offbeat'' By this I mean three quarters (3/4) Definitely cant remember the lyircs, good luck faggots!
Do you know what key it was in? Any lyrics from it that you remember?
>>73695501
It started along ''Cant you see, why dont you go?'' or ''Dont you see, why dont you know?''
All sung in 3/4
Things that let you know you should immediately skip a song.

When girls ask what music you like what do you tell them?
They won't understand my patrician taste so I need bands to make them wet.
grimes
failing that, the chainsmokers or katy perry or whatever.
if they are unimpressed with grimes thats when i know im dealing with some hard core hipster bullshit and break out the harsh noise and japanese samba artists.
Whatever you're listening to at the moment.
"I listen to a bit of everything, but lately I've been listening to a lot of post-punk, shoegaze, and black metal. A little bit of ambient music too. How about you?"
If you can't be honest with a woman then why would you date her
Almost every 30 and up white dad I've ever meet or country side teen are always big fans of rush,"OLD(they can't stress that enough) genesis, jethro Tull, dream theater, and other groups I haven't even heard of?
Is it a southern cultural thing? Orrrr??
I've heard each of those groups listened above most famous albums and truly enjoyed the musicianship anf song craft in general but at the place I work at the manager just plays prog 24/7 and it's just like it gets boring after a while or just too technical and loses any emotional value.
They grew up with it. It's not that hard to figure out if you have more than two brain cells.
Prog rock is the shit, why do you find people liking good music to be weird
>>73695021
Yes, nothing says "redneck" quite like pretentious prog-wank.
