This was so ahead of its time.
Too bad it's unlistenable garbage.

not real music. it clearly marks the start of western degeneracy, the fact that it's from postwar germany should make it painfully obvious.

How's everyone doing tonight? I am feeling pretty down, and I am looking for some music to accompany this feeling. Looking for more music similar to these songs; sad, solo (or as close to solo), and acoustic.
Ben Harper- Walk Away
Passenger- Let Her Go
Johnny Cash- Hurt
and just some random City & Colour thrown in. Help a sad brother out.
Bump
The only thing more depressing then me right now is the fact that I am listening to a playlist of 6 songs on repeat haha.
It's not THAT sad, but try the album Ichiko Aoba- 0.

Not gonna lie, sounds good so far. First song is great. But doesn't scratch the itch, you know?
Okay /mu/ I'm on my quest of purchasing 1000 albums per month, so far I'm sitting at 5005 but I ran out of ideas and suggestions since I own pretty much all the albums people know.
Got any recommendation?

What the fuck is the autism level of this thread.
Like, seriously. Just stop for a second. Stop, take a breath, and look at what you just posted, and think OP. Look at it for a long ass time. Take it all in. Think really god damn hard about what you just posted. How autistically far down the meme rabbit hole have you fallen? Like, that picture, that text... What level of shitposting are you on? I'm actually worried about you OP. I think you need to go outside, go take a deep breath of air, and remind yourself that there is an outside world that exists away from 4chan. Like, what would your mother say if she saw this thread? I imagine she would glance at it, try to look away, read it again, then just let out a resigned sigh of complete and utter disappointment. For all her efforts, all the time and money she spent, everything she put into raising you only produced an autistic shitposting memelord on a retarded image board. For fuck sakes, I'm disappointed in you and I don't even know you. This post... is definitely the lowest moment of someones life. I know it. This is rock bottom for you, OP. I'm sorry. I hope things look up for you. Maybe go take a walk tomorrow. Being among normal society for even a few minutes might do you some good.
Floridada - jam of a lifetime?
No. Absolutely not.

Satan lies.
>>73698656
That album sucked
Is this what hip hop needed
Not really. It's already a saturated market.
>>73698648
They sing more than rap, so I don't think so
>>73698690
Lots of popular hip hop artists sing nowadays
If tis isn't hip hop what genre would you say it is?
>"What are your hobbies?"
>"Oh, I'm a serious music fan."
What's wrong with that?
>>73698569
A real hobby is something you do while listening to music.

would you call him daddy too?
I feel like J. Cole is good in the mic when it comes to giving bars and even drops a message here and there. But to be honest, a lot of what he raps about is very miniscule to even give the time to listen to. And as to if he is a fan, it came to me when I listened to some of his samples and found that he has some that have already been done by old school rappers. The obvious one is in Forbidden Fruit, where he decided to sample a song A Tribe Called Quest sampled which is one of their popular. The same case is for other songs of his. St. Tropez uses the same sample as Mobb Deep's Give Up the Goods.4 Your Eyez Only sounds a lot like One Love by Nas. False Prophets sounds A LOT like another A Tribe Called Quest song which is Lyrics to Go. I feel like he just wants to be one of the greatest in the genre he loves or he really thinks he can be the greatest, no mater what he raps about as long as he is lyrical and gives off a vibe. THE GUY MADE A SONG ABOUT FOLDING CLOTHES FOR GODS SAKE. Please tell me what you think.

He's a pompous rapper with above average lyrics but repetitive and painfully boring beats. I find his music to be boring and lame and it makes hate me more because of his fan base. People will die screaming that he is tge messiah of hip-hop. I once met a J Cole stan, white stoner kid may I add, who told me to "read a dictionary nigga" when I said I didn't like J Cole. I think he is fake woke rap and is a boring self absorbed artist.
>>73698463
J. Cole wants to be one of the greats but just doesn't have "it" whatever it is
2014 FHD and Friday Night Lights are hiphop CLASSICS though
name my band
the Pretty Cool Guys
Asian Stroke
that's not your band, it's mine you liar
What albums would you use to convince someone that the House genre isn't complete shit?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0quXl_od3g
Idk but I like this song
>>73698356
But Cross isn't house at all. It's french electro.
Maybe you mean "electronic music isn't complete shit"?
In which case it depends on what they like and show them cool electronic music that's similar to it.
Because the thing is, electronic music isn't a genre but a way to make music, so you'll find all kinds of music and "sounds" within the "electronic" kind of music.
If you actually meant house music (as in "Chicago house", then you don't need an album to make them like it. You need drugs.
>>73699391
>Cross isn't house
Except the part where a lot of it is, you numpty.
I can't believe Bjork invented Grimes
I can't believe Bjork and Grimes are being marketed to the same audience
Kate Bush invented Björk also
>>73698204
I cant believe /mu/ is obsessed with those frauds
I actually can because /mu/ is garbage of a board
is music dead?
>>73698186
we still have Grimes
>>73698196
>Grimes
>look it up on u toob
>it sucks ass
It just seems like great musical movements of the past had some sort of connection to what came before, like there was some lineage. All the shit now seems severed from all that. Just sayin.
Is Bjork the queen of the avant-garde?
>Bjork
>avant-garde
One Word: Grimes
>>73698117
>Bjork
>not avant-garde
lmao
>>73698135
>Grimes
>not pop trash
