Another thread about it? Dude, your opinion is shit. Educate yourself or at least have the decency to keep the idiocy to yourself. It's dull.
>QT at work was wearing london calling shirt today

the pains of being intelligent
It's funny because the Clash are much more intelligent than the Smiths.

This is nu-metal right?
Not looking for people to weigh in on the quality or how they feel about the album or genre in general, I personally think it's one of DGs best works.
But it's nu-metal from what I can tell.
yeah pretty much
it's really creative nu metal and was lucky to come out twenty years after nu metal died
sure whatever
Yeah
why do people, especially chicks, like this run of the mill indie bore-core? Never thought I'd say this, but I'd rather listen to Beach House
Do you guys dance to your music? Can you even dance? I'd like to think that when I'm alone and I turn on my tunes I break the motherfucking dance floor

What the fuck is "dub" and how do I get into it? A lot of artists I like is influenced by "dub" but I have no idea what that is. To my understanding it's just plunderphonics of reggae songs?
>>74989139
It's more experimental reggae, much more rhythm/bass oriented with lots of studio craziness

Musical prodigies, what were the signs that you're a music genius? Were you labeled with ADHD, ADD, autism, and whatnot when you were a kid? Did that affect your ability to play, if you were medicated?
>>74989134
>imblying actual prodigies visit shitholes like /mu/
Cute
>>74989153
Lots of genius are on the autism spectrum, so, yes, they visit /mu/.
>>74989186
No you dumbass, just because they're autistic doesn't mean they visit 4chan.
That's like saying you're talented since both you and the geewiz have autism. Of course not.
You ever look at your SO and think about how much better your taste in music is? Am i an autist/mu/?
She liked tool and panteta. I like Einstürzende Neubauten and Siouxsie.
I meant how much better than their exs taste in music

Hey /mu/. I'm bipolar but whenever I enter a manic state, I want to use this to my advantage in order to make extremely ambitious, passionate, great music. For instance, I read that Brian Wilson was purposely attempting to create "the greatest rock album of all time" when he made Pet Sounds. And there's a lot of people who would agree he succeeded.
When I feel a manic state coming on, I immediately become very ambitious and serious about music - I feel as if I've been placed on this earth to make music. I become obsessed. My main point is this: I want to put all my time, however long that may be, probably several years, into making a god-tier album that incorporates several genres like rock, hip-hop and electronica.
But how am I supposed to carry out my vision of using all my creative effort making such a legendary album that is at least 30-45 minutes long, with only a limited amount of resources and money?
