When will they stop making shitty mumble rap music?
I just listened to this. Do I like it?
>>74994546
i don't know. did you?
How come Born Under Punches is the most often quoted song by Talking Heads? Even Once in a Lifetime, which is one of their most popular pieces, is behind it.
DUDE MY HANDS LMAO
*listens to born under punches*
>hmm, i wonder who could be behind this?
THIS IS RUNNING ON EMPTY
I gotta go with Love Songs For The Apocalypse or Burn The Earth! Leave It Behind!
Looking to make a playlist out of spooky, haunting music for fall/halloween.
Examples:
Psychotic Girl - Black Keys
Shadows - Yelawolf
Everything by Oneiroid Psychosis

How about genuinely unsettling
New Ghostemane album came out today.
https://soundcloud.com/ghostemane/sets/ghostemane-hexada
Thoughts? Thoughts on the general crossover that underground hip hop and metal have going on recently these past few years? Ghostemane is pulling it off well in my opinion, at least better than Suicideboys or XXX.

Shill your shit one more time in this board and I'll personally go to one of your underage shows and rape you in front of what little audience you have.
Holy shit. This album took me completely by surprise. I've always liked Brand New's sound, but never really fell completely in love with any of their previous albums the way I have with "Science Fiction."
If I'm not actively listening to this, I want to be listening to it. For the past week, I haven't gone a single day without playing it at least three times. It's been a long time since I've been this obsessed with any one album.
I just can't adequately describe how much I love it. Even with all the other great music that has been released in the past 8 months, this is definitely my favorite album of 2017.
>>74994376
why though, it is good but not that good, the last song is the only one that took me by surprise i literally got teary eyed at work cus of it lol
I've been listening to it all the time myself.
At first I kinda thought it was meh, but man does it fucking grow on you
I wanna start of by asking, what does /mu/ think the best rap/hiphop song is? All genres.
>>74994348
that's very hard to nail down, since it depends on the generation you come from and which generation(s) you hold in high regard.
For me, it would be Nas - NY State of Mind because it encapsulates the rawness and grittyness while also building on the technical foundations of Rakim and Kool G Rap.
>>74994372
Literally listened to it like 10 minutes ago, guess that goes to show.
Favourite TOTO song?
For me, it's Hold The Line
africa
their music TOTOlly makes me want to kill myself
>>74994366
"Africa" is ingenious, my guy. Take a gander at this:

What you guys think? Catchy tune desu

This album cover could fit any 2008-2010 'lo-fi indie band' and get BNM from p4k.
Didn't listen to the song though.
>>74994284
Oasis called and said 'stop stealing our shite la' or aar kid will come fuck you up'

I don't wanna be a dick, but I think you guys missed the boat on the whole Britpop revival thing. Peace and Jagwar Ma had a crack at it 3-4 years ago and couldn't go any further than a debut. They're irrelevant now and so are you tbqhwy.
hey /mu/, it's been ages since its release, can we talk about this album again? or do you guys not liek it anymore
>>74994273
>liek
i obviously meant like. sorry; am high and returned to it for old time's sake
>>74994273
it's some decent psyche pop
emphasis on the pop
wish that they did more guitar based shit like this but i envision it's all synthpop from here now
>>74994292
so other stuff is pretty garbage then? fever was pretty iconic among the emo "xDDDDD" scene
Any of their other stuff worth looking into or do they begin an end with pumped up kicks?
HOLY SHIT DEATH GRIPS JUST DROPPED HALF LIFE 3 TURN ON CNN
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
why don't you like this masterpiece?
>>74994166

SAA is better but this is still great
I wouldn't call it a masterpiece but it is pretty great, definitely very underrated
