Is it even possible to enjoy them after watching the Nardwuar interview?

>Nardwuar
You have to be at least 18 years old to post here.
On another note, how is your summer vacation going? Are you excited to be starting high school in the fall?
Is it even possible to enjoy Nardwuar after The Strokes interview?

you should give wovenhand a go if you like c93. I just started getting into them this past week, kind of regret taking this long. People have been reccing them to me for years on account of that I like Kiss The Anus of a Black Cat and what little c93 I've heard.
What happened?
Got fucked harder than Ten Walls

They were leftists who unwillingly became the next meal for the perpetually fickle left to eat.
There will be many others. Many.
>>73899837
To be fair, they are members of the lgbt community and were lauded as idols of it but then Ben turned out to be a sexual predator and Liv didn't do shit.
>He uses speakers over headphones
>>73899659
depends on which speakers
>>73899659
>Using Speaker in 2017
Just buy studio monitors if you want loud and accurate sound.
>>73899659
Good speakers will always be better than good headphones. I enjoy headphones, but my speakers are just amazing, similar price too.
>tfw you criticize 95% of musicians then actually sit down and try to make music and realize it's really hard
>>73899039
>tfw you think that the music community is made of elite music savants that are miles ahead of anything you can aspire to only to hear them describe their creative process as cramming random chords together on a drunken bender
>>73899039
>tfw you think most music is mediocre and no one really tries hard enough and finally sit down and write fucking mind altering beautiful music that is better than 99% of the shit people listen to each time and realise you were right all along
Feels excellent to be a genius songwriter desu m8

send something you've done, or are you just telling lies over the internet again anon?
I'm writing video-essay on Daniel Lopatin. Anything you want me to include mu?
Don't gloss over his early stuff.
>>73898990
Make sure to discuss how much he loves french fries.
Don't forget to really go into how important of a record Eccojams is. Not just for vaporwave, but for other music genres and the context it brings in our world. Pretty sure somebody did a pretty good write up like a few days ago about it on /mu/ you can probs find it in the archives.
Why are covers only such a big deal with music, albums and singles in particular? You see hundreds of variations of book covers, film posters, etc, yet the covers to music relations become forever attached to their release.
Eh, I know this is kind of a retard thing to say, but having nice art (or just fitting is most important) really can add to the experience. It can help give context to what the intent was, or an idea of what the people who made it are like.
Music isn't a visual medium, so album art goes a long way in making the artist's aesthetic sensibilities clear
>>73898850
>You see hundreds of variations of book covers
There are thousands of truly iconic book covers too desu
ITT: Music that nu-males hate
I don't hate The Fagile because it offends my sensibilities, I hate it because it's a mess of an album.
What went so right?
What's the best song?
>>73898447
On that album it's absolutely Devil in a New Dress.
>>73898447
It being the start of the decade, combined with god tier production and a brand new, clean look and feel. It was Kanye at his best, and his best is always when he's ahead of the curve, not just rapping well or producing well.
All of the Lights is my favorite song on the album.
It's an 8/10 at best. Best track being Devil In A New Dress
Doesn't hold up against LR, 808s, and TCD
