>>73942297
whats its appeal i dont get it?
Conflicted.
One on hand, it's a song about a dumb degenerate whore. On the other, it reveals the vacuous result of millennial "fun" and her attempts to rectify them in a (((modern)) way. Tell me how I feel /mu/.

shit song
>millennial "fun"
doesn't exist
When judging an artist with song writing topics such as the ones Tove Lo covers I often try and see how they are either relatable (Not just to me)
or legitimate in some way to someone. And while I do think most electronically infused pop music which seems to dominate the tastes of many young people today, are covering rather nebulous and boring topics, it can't be ignored that many of these people who listen to them do in fact live out some of the lifestyles these songs depict.

Tripfag, begome
Are there any jazz artists who are actually doing anything innovative? I like The Epic but I have to admit that it's not innovative at all.
I came up with a new playing technique
The Epic is one of the most boring fucking things to ever exist.
>>73942237
It has its high points and works as a throat clearing exercise for the last 17-18 years
Good songs to kill yourself to

Rock and "electronica" were not pioneered by white people.
>>73941662
Rock may not have been created by white people but it was absolutely pioneered by them
>>73941662
Yes they were
Did you ever go through an edgy phase where you thought music or an album "changed your life"
I still cringe when I think back to that phaze
>>73941539
Someone sounds insecure
No, not really, but I always expected it. Same with film, same with books. Nothing.
The only thing that has actually changed my life slightly is riding my bicycle.
It's funny because you think you're gonna look back on 2017 and not feel the same way you feel right now

Why is it that all rappers talk about is these three things nowadays?
Does it matter, not like lyrics are relevant anyway
And because black people are primates
>>73941311
because rap is in its punk phase.
>>73941556
Narcissism and punk are kind of antithetical.
