can noise rock really be considered shugazi?
>>73953626
why not?
all the genres I listed put me in a similar spot on the feel spectrum, noise rock just more energetic.

help me make a fake soundtrack
i have a project i have to do where i create a fake movie synopsis and pick 7-10 songs for a soundtrack
this movie is about a humanlike robot that gets thrust into being a 25 year old human in san francisco and has to struggle with jobs and people treating him poorly
then he gets fed up with everything after a while and moves to yosemite where he gets offered a low paying job as a trash collector and falls deeply in love with nature. one day while trash collecting a sudden crazy storm appears and hes never seen anything like it so he runs to the top of a mountain to witness it and eventually his mostly metal body gets struck by lightning and he iimmediately dies.
im trying to find a good mix of maybe like experimental synthy stuff that sounds robotic and then a good mix of very human music
>>73983783
oh also i need a name but im having a really tough time
>>73983783
BoC and Ulrich Schnauss sound pretty good for that.
>>73984123
Good recs, I've actually picked 3 BoC songs out for it already, any suggestions for Ulrich? Never listened to much of him.
>He listens to Oasis
Reminder that if you shame people for listening to Oasis but listen to Blur, you need to end your own life.
What's wrong with Oasis?
>>73983822

One of the best rap beefs in recent years is going on right now in the grime scene, why isn't /mu/ talking about it?

Grime is for white suburban teenagers, usually 14 year old girls trying to seem hard and insecure white dudes who overpay for weed.

why do people like metal, granted some of what could be considered metal is good, but black metal or death metal just sounds like the inside of a angsty teen's coked out mind.
Why do people ask stupid questions?
>>73982278
Death metal is so fun to listen to, I can't get enough of it. I listen to it for the same reasons I listen to catchy pop. For black, instead, I like listening to it when I want to be alone because it really excels at setting a certain atmosphere (this is true for atmospheric bm but also for "kvlt" bm or shit like dso or blut aus nord), basically I like it for the same reasons I like post-punk. Also, you probably are giving the lyrics too much importance if it makes you think about an angsty teen: just enjoy the sounds. Which genres do you like? I can try to point you to some kind of black/death that you could like

well garden of delete was some garbo
>RYM
>having even an ounce of actual appreciation for electronic music
Lmao. In fact, that GoD rating used to be even lower, it's finally going up now that people finally accepted that it's different but still good.
Emotion was a perfect summation of the millennial condition, Garden of Delete was an aimless collection of bleep bloops
