Name 5 artists who intentionally created albums with that track order purposefully, not done by the record label marketing team.
Obvious concept albums like WotW don't count.
What the fuck are you talking about?
>>74013928
90% of albums are literally just the best 10-12 songs since the last albums sold in albums for easier profit.
Cardiacs' discography since their record label is managed by the band itself.
OP status: proven wrong.
What are some of the best instrumental hip hop/ trip hop albums? I've been listening to Donuts and Endtroducing lately and I'm looking for some more stuff in the same vein.

try the 10000000000000000000 dilla tribute albums there are
should keep you busy
this is also roundly thought of as the best album cover of all time design and style wise meaning high class artistes all agree it's the best ever
"this album cover saved my life"
>>74013902
It's a well composed image with a simple, sans serif title. There's nothing wrong with it because it's simple, there's not much it could have done wrong.
However, I think the best thing about the album cover is that it really shows how down to earth it is. It's just a dude making some beats. It's not trying to be anything more than that and a goodbye. RIP Dilla

ITT: artists that tend to only be liked by really dumb or really smart people
>>74013151
You mean pop albums with cult orientation or what you actually said itself? because:
>>74013188
That's a similar idea but not quite the same, in your example it's usually because something was never marketed in certain places, so it's "obscure" and people see different sides of it. What I meant is more abstract, it's music that middlebrows often dismiss because they only see one side of a dichotomy between crassness and thoughtfulness.
>really dumb
>really smart
what's the difference really?
