why did chillwave die
/mu/ plz
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVYpHboJXcA
>>74035160
because all of the artist sucked. had a couple good songs
but far as albums go chillwave had no classics. plus it came towards the end of blogger indie being the voice of whats good/bad.
the kiss of death was when the main artist moved on to trying to be actual musicians but failed.
>>74035369
will always be a classic in my heart
Name a better album. Ill wait.

HERE IN MY CAR
80s pop has so much more to offer, why don't you discover more of it
>>74034927
Cars is 1979 though
>>74034927
Give 3 examples please.
I like Cars a lot but it's pretty much the only pop song I like.
So, after wanting to for a while now, I finally gave this album a listen, and I just finished it.
Honestly, I don't think I've ever related to an album this much before. I know that I definitely have a few mental problems, and this is the closest I've come to finding something that's like how my mental breakdowns are, but concentrated into music.
Just really glad this thing exists.
It's terrible verging on unlistenable and you are not mentally ill you're just a sensitive cuck
I am walking the cow
>>74034880
listen to 1990 if you want to hear mental breakdowns in the form of gospel music
Tell me where to start with the Smiths .
s/t, Meat Is Murder, The Queen Is Dead, Strangeways, Here We Come. Then Hatful of Hollow and Louder than Bombs.
>>74034646
Start from the first album and listen in chronological order ya dingus.
>>74034646
Right there
Since I Left You is better.
Yeah.

"Wrong."
>I've got tapes
>I've got c.d.'s
>I've got my Public Enemy
>My lilly white ass is tickled pink
>When I listen to the music that makes me think
What did he mean by this?
>>74034636
He is such a hack goddamn.
Probably the worst successful lyricist ever
How did he get with such talented musicians?
He's your typical SoCal libtard with white guilt.
The Power of Equality is still a fine song, though. So is most of the Peppers' output.
>>74034636
I love him so much.
Red by so fucking far
I'll miss Remain In Light, The Ascension, The Modern Dance, and Daydream Nation, but definitely blue. I can't give up Kate or the Cocteau Twins and I enjoy pretty much everything else on the blue side too.
Fuck that's hard
I think I'd pick red, but I would miss PiL, Kate, This Heat, The Smiths, MBV, and Wire a lot
>cause the players gonna play play play play play
>and the haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate
>i'm just gonna shake shake shake shake shake
>shake it all shake it all!!!
