No signs of tinnitus/hearing loss or damage yet, but bc I get super autistic about music some days I do listen to it a shitload/for long stretches.
I listen to everything digitally, but just through either a pair of closed-back headphones or a pair of in-ear earbuds.
If getting (not totally shit, obviously) speakers is really the way I oughta go for the sake of my lifelong hearing, what's the kind of stuff I should be looking into and what kinda stuff if anything do I need to know about setup and the like? (Especially so I'm not blaring stuff out enough to get into other people's hearing)
dubs and he's next

I don't think that's going to happen.
dubs and he lives another 100 years
How many more young souls must he harvest to make it through 2017?
Is Mike Love his endgame?
OK but like does anyone else on 4chan like bmth
Let's settle this once and for all. Which is the best radiohead song "let down" or "airbag".

What albums are a must/ his best? Ive heard he's a must so can i get some help?
Hey man! Speaking for myself and for most of his fanbase, he reached his climax in the mid 70's and later had a revival with his MTV unplugged album. The Albums he recorded with The Yardbirds and John Mayall are considered to be the best those bands have to offer. Then of course his three years with cream were probably the most succesfull. After they broke up, he formed Blind Faith and later Derek & The Dominos. So heres some albums for ya: John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton, All Cream albums, Layla and other assorted lovesongs, MTV unplugged, ....Personally I prefer the Blind Faith songs over the rest, they are kinda like cream, but less mainstream. Shadilay!

OP here, thank you. This is very valuable. Ive been looking to broaden my musical horizons, not with just listening but with playing as well.
You're welcome! I've been through all this, though still expanding my own horizon. Eric Clapton plays good stuff, his 80's and 90's productions (with Phil Collins and other weird experiments) kinda suck, at least if you're looking for decent, blues-rooted, music. Sea of joy (Blind Faith) has a nice guitar pattern you can intend to learn, Sunshine of your love is a good start and rather simple to play. The Solo guitar on the Beatles "While my guitar gently weeps" in case you didnt know already, is also a contribution by Slowhand. If you like to just jam along with your record, which i used to do a lot, with great results, I highly recommend the John Mayall Album, or John Mayall in general. The Album he recorded with him is often referred to as the "BEANO" album.

That album sucks ass tho. It only has one good song of wolf and man
Why did Radiohead decide to make Lotus Flower?
it sounds nothing like a Radiohead song. it sounds like something from a Thom Yorke/Atoms for Peace album
>>73823648
Why did they make anything after creep? sounds nothing like Radiohead!!
>>73823648
Then I'll have to ask the question, what does a radiohead song sound like (according to you)?
Have you listened to The King of Limbs at all

What's going on in this pic?
Why is he such a big meanie? i mean does he hate life or something?
Mike is 80 years old. He's dying of throat cancer stemmed from strenuous and at times inhuman vocal use. He knows time is almost up, he's beginning to trip out, but then all of a sudden, Wolfmother out of nowhere starts playing and he snaps back into reality. He's shocked, the final countdown of his life has ended and the rocket is about to achieve liftoff; his final, intense words before passing
>ARE YOU HEARING THIS SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT??!?!?!!?!??
>>73823600
>Why is he such a big meanie?
Does this all stem from the Wolfmother thing? He seems like a good guy tbqfhwy. Also, Wolfmother deserved it.

does he normally act like this?

What do you guys think of The Lucky Chops (and by that extension Too Many Zooz?)
Also does anyone know of any other acts like this? I like me some Brass music.

I was really into Too Many Zooz for like a week, then realized all of their shit kinda sounded the same. They have some serious skill though. The Lucky Chops are also neat but didn't capture me quite as much.
As far as similar artists, they aren't really that similar but I often hear Moon Hooch mentioned in the same breath as these guys so you might want to check them out.
Does any /mu know the name of the first song ?
Fuck off

Gentle Giant discussion?
I only recently started listening. I think the Power and the Glory is my favorite.
What's your opinion on the Steven Wilson remixes vs the originals? I've only heard the remix on Octopus, and it seems like the low end is pushed way further than it would have been in the original mix. I want to hear the original.
