Any Anjuna family here? Will anyone be joining me for ABGT #250 at The Gorge in Washington? If so, what are your plans?
I'm road-tripping in a rental car from Minneapolis. Not camping, we're staying in a hotel about 40 minutes away. Dropping off the rental in Seattle, then flying home.

I'm surprised you didn't get hooked for life.
Still relevant
Wow, I've been browsing for 2 years and this is the first Rick James thread I've seen. Props to you OP,
That time that guy on American Idol did a post-grunge cover of Hello and it was brilliant.
What's some non-derivative music? I'm focusing more on modern stuff (30 years max) that sound completely original instead of a large pile of influences.
>>74065111
All music is derivative, pleb. You can't just pull shit out of your ass, it has to be built on a framework that already exists.
>>74065135
Who built the framework?
>>74065135
This.
If some musician says they don't find inspiration from anyone or anything they're straight pretentious cunts.
What do you listen to when you read? Pic related.
Ambient
It's the only time when I actually listen to ambient music
You're not supposed to listen to music while reading it takes away the focus
instrumental music only, mostly jazz
>He hasn't taken the gripspill
Life is fucking meaningless so just do whatever crazy shit you want
That's terrible motivation.
Is that why you're here?
>>73865787
This is your idea of getting crazy? You must be a mormon or some shit.
Too teenage, and that's saying something considering I'm fucking 19.
MILK could have been amazing if it weren't for that hook, and BANK is the best track.

Should you listen to Cds on a CD walkman or import it to a pc? and use a mp3 walkman
>>73865685
>CD walkman
lmao what year is this
>>73865685
If you care about sound fidelity just make sure you're importing at 320kbps or lossless. You should also probably invest in a proper MP3 player though or a DAC for your computer if you wanna get autistic about it.
You don't really need to listen to CDs in that fashion anymore and I don't know enough about Walkman's to know how good their DAC's can drive headphones. You might ironically be still missing out in terms of your listening experience even though you're playing it lossless.
make another album you BITCH

It's like you're dead, Mark. Just something. Anything.
