what
Regarding concerts, my dad always says "I would go just to say I did". I think he's being genuine about it but maybe he's just ignorant and doesnt that phrase imply he's being a poser/hipster about it? My brother picked up on it too and i cant help but cringe when they say it. Am i just being insecure or what? What do you guys think when you hear people say that?
Most of the time you go to a show where you dont know the bands its for the experience and the chance to find new music and maybe get laid.

Checked. Also i was thinking they were referring to the experience, but they never say that. They never try to get laid nor check out the bands they dont know. Its always "to tell people i did" and never "for the experience etc."
I'd go to a GG Allin concert just to say I did.
Best film scores, /mu/?
If you asked me:
-Kingdom of Heaven
-Glory
-Master and Commander
-Gettysburg
-Gods and Generals
-The Magnificent Seven
-Lord of the Rings
Will be asking /tv/ the very same question.

On a Dailymotion link of their most recent set at Glastonbury, someone posted this link in the comments.

It seems legit, given that they've played the first three tracks (Crumbling Castle pts. I, II, and III) live. What do you think?

KG vs. Thee Oh Sees is a far more apt comparison
>mfw people argue about audio quality
I wish I could care about that shit but my ears are fucked from all the shitty bars with terribly loud sound systems, my ears are always ringing, half the time when a recordings bad I just assume it's my ears. Is FLAC really that much better, whats the deal with vinyl? I have those but mostly for the novelty.

Why was British rock so much more patrician in the 90s than US rock?
>patrician british rock

'90s US rock: Nirvana, Pavement, REM, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Morphine, The Jesus Lizard, Unwound...
'90s UK rock: My Bloody Valentine, Manic Street Preacher, Oasis, Spiritualised, Placebo, Mogwai, Blur...

I need some good noise rock, boys. Any recs?
boredoms, trust me on this. chocolate synthesizer is pretty far out, super ae is more psychedelic. start with those 2, then dig up charts on them and continue down your preferred path.
