Why had I never heard of these guys before? This is fantastic and I want more people to hear it.
Can you honestly say that their early EPs are bad? Can you honestly say that if The 1975 never made it big that you wouldn't listen to them?

Do you think some "left wing", or "liberal artists" are full of shit? and just doing it for marketing? I think some of them might be right leaning at the least
Why is this so underrated?
hey, this is really good
Hey /mu/, can you help me find a song? It's an electronic music song, the song uses a lot of tiny water droplet effects (it almost sounds like hundreds of tiny marbles), and the album artwork has the face of a cyborg in blue/red/silver. Kind of like pic related, except it doesn't remind you of shitty dubstep.
I found it on /mu/ like 4-5 years ago and would love to find it again.

If only he could've gotten rid of his heroin addiction, he would've been alive today...
this is a question for anybody who might be knowledgeable on music production, recording, or the production of examples i will give; how do i bring out the textural qualities of sounds like on the glow pt. 2, hospice, kid a, etc.? if anybody could point me in the direction of where i could learn more or could tell me some techniques used by the producers of music with a lot of texture it would be greatly appreciated

the fuzz sounds just has a lot of depth to it, like it feels thick to the ears. it's hard to explain
It's called reverb and mic technique if you really mean "depth"

If you use any of these terms when talking about music genres, you should probably rethink your life.

I'll only use buttrock from now on.
Name a more front-loaded album

I don't really understand this opinion but I guess starting off a thread with bait will get more replies

I was planning to go alone to concert but now I am having second thoughts. Should I sell my great location ticket for Fleet Foxes in order to buy 2 shitty locations so I can bring my girlfriend with me?
What would you /mu/sic people do?
Does she really want to go? If so, make the sacrifice. If she couldn't care less, better seats all the way.
its fleet foxes. nobody should ever go to there shows. shame on you for your money on garbage. shame on you for creating this thread. your girlfriend should dump you for your shit taste in music.
>tfw good taste in music and will appreciate all its kinds even if they're country or hip-hop
feels good man
Please help me separate the wheat from the chaff. I can't get enough Townes Van Zandt, I like Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs, and I like some Waylon Jennings.
Can anyone recommend some melancholic country? Nothing later than the 1970s, please.
