In one of Anthony's YUNOREVIEW videos from 2015-2017, he mentioned a death metal band that had punk influences. I went through them and couldn't find it, can anyone help me find it?
you're describing just about every band of all time

literally who?
i turned this off after 30 seconds, his voice is that bad

corbin, formerly known as spooky black,
was huge here in 2014, kind of as a meme but he was also a genuinely great singer and decent songwriter.
then he sort-of disappeared (he put out an ep, had a few live shows and dropped some collabs with bobby raps, but was mostly quiet), and a few days ago he finally dropped a full length album and it's great

i get that the first song is kind of a turn off because he's crying and wallowing all over, but this album has some genuinely amazing cuts like revenge song and mourn, the latter being a better example of his usual singing style.
even the first song - it took a few listens, but it grew on me. now this is my AOTY
what does /mu/ think of the Grateful Dead
A huge fan of The Pig Pen years.
Still love 'em after that till the end.
Keith Godchaux was OK, but Donna was NOT!
Early stuff from The Warlocks' demo up to Live Dead is GOAT! (And every concert performed during those years)
Saw every who I could in my town from 1987-1995, and even saw Jerry's last show at Soldier Field in Chicago.
I love everything about them except the actual music.

Kinda like the end of Abbey Road but for an entire album. Songs that have lyrical and musical motifs that are referenced throughout. Cross fading doesn't count that shit is lazy
dark side of the moon
Origin of Symmetry by Muse is amazingly sequenced.

I'm 28, is it too late to learn guitar and keyboard and become a professional musician? I feel like there's just too much info to absorb, I really know nothing about amp setups etc.
I've been very musically-oriented my whole life, I have thousands of voice memos with vocal snippets and melodies and books of lyrics but never took up an instrument besides drums.
I'm not really interested in forming a band with others either.
too late, you have to start young when your fingers arent fully grown and can adapt to the guitar
>>75019916
it's easy to get yourself up to the musical standards of rock
you have to play with other people to achieve anything with guitar though
you're way ahead of yourself though, you don't even know if you like playing music. pick guitar or keyboard (guitar's easier) and see if you can stick with it for awhile
if you know how to sing and drum you should probably just find a band desu

>>75019862
No one knows much about her, not even internet detectives.
fyi AVC are two artist brothers who shares identical look; one is 40-something yo, and the oldest almost 60. The whole "AVC is a trans*/agender female goth" gimmick is a pure act.
Hey /mu/, what's the easiest way to write a sad melody? Doesn't matter how good or original it has to be, it just needs to sounds really sad.
add a lot of suspensions
>minor chords
>slow tempo
>suspensions
