Complex, intricate, and unorthodox compositions, god-like playing, funny lyrics, and something new unearthed with each listen. What's not to like. Try out some of the more accessible tracks :

Also, if you're more interested in the more technical side of things, this guy does a good job analyzing why these songs are so out there, but not for the same reasons as many people think.

Every single place i go to that sells music always has this album, one time i went to a flea market and i even found this album multiple times. Is this a sign? Is this album good? Should I buy this album? Is this only happening to me?
supply and demand
That album is probably one of the best DM albums, but oldschool fans don't consider it trve DM
Basically Songs of Faith and Devotion Part II. If you liked that one you'll like this probably.

Uh, 28? How's that last Ichiko Aoba album on your collage? I haven't listened to it yet. Also, have you heard Dave Bixby- Ode to Quetzalcoatl? You'd probably dig it.
>>73919504
I like Danse Manatee, Group, and Galaxie 500. Not really into anything else here. I don't think I've ever going to get Blonde tee bee aich. No idea why.

Slow week? Also, I need to dive back into Built to Spill. I've not listened to them in years.
ITT: shit bands with one good album
Can someone explain how this album is even good?
>inb4 muh cultural relevance
What
>>73919428
It's not great, but it'd say it's good. It definitely pales in comparison to a lot of other first-wave punk albums, but there are a decent amount of good tracks on there, the only one I can think of as being outstandingly shit being Anarchy in the UK maybe. It's a simple and enjoyable rock album.
>/mu/core is bad
>>73919304
>/mu/core is good
>>73919304
>/mu/core is good
>/mu/ core has it's ups and downs and the actual quality of it is ultimately subjective
anyone know why the version of underwater tank on bandcamp sounds lower quality than the video for it on youtube?
>>73919057
because bandcamp is trash for listening to music and so is youtube, just download the fucking flac you meme
>>73919083
even that still sounds compressed as shit compared to the version posted to youtube
The original file was probably lost in the broken computer the Sunshine EP was on
>>73919017
Track your vacuum and computer fan over a Em7 chord played through 3 fuzz pedals in series then a piezo then an over drive pedal, the 4 more fuzz pedals.
