Most bluegrass music is more musically complex than aphex twins stuff.
Technically you can add almost infinite complexity to a track with layers, overdubs etc.. it's not that impressive to just add shit for the sake of it.

acid pro, there are tons of free samples online. you wont feel creatively validated because its just loops, but you will have fun. its a lot easier than trying to compose every beat

I just can't get into them. They sound shitty and outdated. I like Nurse With Wound, Current 93 and even some Cabaret Voltaire but I dont see how anybody could enjoy listening to Throbbing Gristle more than the groups I just mentioned. Can somebody please explain the appeal in listening to them in this day and age besides historical value and the "fear" factor which has since been done better.
