Breaking The Habit is unironically a good song.
The dude from Korn talked shit about him, said hes a pussy coward for abandoning his kids.

so /mu/ recently i've had to quit weed because my gf can't smoke it anymore, and well i don't know how to bring myself to listen to music, i just get bored quickly and find myself looking for other things to do. i've tried doing other things while listening but then i don't feel like i can really appreciate the music if i'm not giving it my full attention. how do i bring myself to listen to new stuff again?
why don't you just keep smoking. i didnt realize she could get high by you smoking OP
>>74092154
it is possible to smoke alone
vape or edibles. Maybe learn theory and start doing analysis on what you listen to or something
Hey /mu/!
My friends and I are starting up a shitty band and want to make a narrative album. I already know a few (Twin Fantasy,De-Loused in the Comatoriu, The Suburbs, etc.), but could you recommend us some good narrative albums we can look at for inspiration?
Pic unrelated
I think Ziggy Stardust is a classic example of what you're looking for.
>>73944755
I had no idea that was a narrative! I only listened to it once about a year or two ago. Definitely gonna relisten. Thanks
>>73944886
It's kind of a loose narrative. I figured by "narrative album" you meant something that's a notch below full "concept album." Enjoy!
What do you think about it /mu/?

Probably one of the gayest songs I have ever heard.
Any thoughts? I thought the middle of the album lacks.
singles annoyed me.
album suffered from bubblegum pop production. they lost what made them unique which was the folksy sound, and their lyrics turned from personal stories to tumblr-esq comments on society with all the depth of a street puddle with a shinny oil slick.
3/10.
>>74092130
Didn't know it leaked. Probably won't bother with it because the singles have been consistently trash.
Not bad. Taking it in a new direction which is obviously going to alienate some fans, but lost a lot of the poetic lyricism that made their earlier work so appealing. A lot of what they were going for felt far too on-the-nose and obvious for a band of their caliber. The themes expressed are a bit hackneyed and well-worn, with a few exceptions that show themselves in shining moments, and there's some great production in there that makes staying through for the listen well worth it, as does the gorgeous penultimate and outro.
All and all I'd call it pretty good, worth the listen. Lasting tracks for me are Everything Now, Electric Blue, We Don't Deserve Love.
I can't believe 2pac is gay wtf
friendly reminder that ironic shitposting is still shitposting but also that i love it keep up the good work
I love it when people do this /b/-esque shit to express their racism

OK. I assumed it sounds like early 2000's Nu-metal, and that can't be challenged.
>Modern classical music (late 1800s onwards) > every other kind of classical music
You cannot deny this
