Let's have a reggae thread. Recs etc.
I've been a Lee Perry fan for a long time. Recently I've been listening to Heavyweight Dub Champion by Scientist a lot. The amount of times this record has been sampled is quite remarkable.
I know Prince Far I as an MC but I just found out his dubbing is mindblowing

>We're gonna change the order off these numbers
>To make things interesting
>Ok here we go

>1 Billion, twenty-five, seventy-five thousand
>1 Billion and eight, six, something
>Zero

His re-recording of Cheap Trick - In Color was awesome.
I've been recently looking for some traditional, relaxing japanese folk music, preferably ones with instruments such as koto and bamboo flute. Any album suggestions?
When did you grow up and realise that he was right all along?
Mike, stop posting threads about yourself, you are, and always will be in the wrong

im not gay but i'd let mike love suck my dick
how does /mu/ deal with the sad fact that all the best albums are already created and something better than RYM top 50 will never be created?
consider suicide for thinking this
>thinking RYM's top 50 are the best albums ever
If a ranking is determined by a huge mass of people, the more popular stuff is naturally going to rise to the top. The only thing it's even good for is a start if you're completely new to music (somehow).
>>73966100
RYM charts are just dadrock born-in-le-wrong-generation bullshit
Can we agree once and for all that poptimisim is dumb as fuck and that rock music is inherently more worthy of critical acclaim than any fabricated pop music product?
Is that thom yorke on the bottom left?
>>73966079
>thom yorke
>pop
"Dude you just hate because it's popular"
"It's fun and catchy!"
I'm making a playlist to play at work whenever I have aux. All I know is that everyone likes Hey Ya and popular Kanye songs. What else can I play at work that everyone will enjoy??
Gimme some chewing Copenhagen music.

They're not just a one hit wonder. All their albums are full of good bluegrassy tracks
