>trap in 2017
lol you can't be serious. Trap has become more of an embarrassing imitation of itself than any music genre in history.
On a scale of 1 - 10 How badly did Steve Gottlieb bite The Hand That Feeds?

The opposite of pretentious
Should I?
Or should I watch the movie instead
The music is pretty boring on it's own. It's fun in context of the movie though.
the steel guitar version of city of dreams is GOAT

>Porceline of the Vast Oceans

I have one of these 15W solid state head, 1x10 cans amps I bought awhile ago.
Would I see an improvement if I bought the Marshall 15W tube head?
Once you go tube you never go back ever.
Even a fucking hybrid 1W tube amp has more souls and dynamics than any solid state.
If youre gigging i would recommend atleast 20W.

No gigs just play for fun in a small apt
what do you think about bands pursuing a new direction?
in this case, post-watershed Opeth
discuss
I hate it
>>73984586
>post-watershed Opeth
it's not that new a direction. their best album is damnation and that has no metal on it. although I guess it is a lot more understated than their recent output
the only thing that's new is the low quality of the songwriting. they haven't made a truly bad album yet, but the last three are mediocre prog revival
in general I'm happy for artists to go in a new direction, as long as it's genuine (which I guess it is for opeth). it's not like their old albums are going anywhere, and why would I want them to keep making the same thing. for example, I'm looking forward to steven wilson's new pop album

Is this a joke I'm not getting?
Also, medicine bottle and 20000 deaths for eidelyn gonzalez by xiu xiu are my heart-destroying songs of choice.

Nine Inch Nails - While I'm Still Here

Does /mu/ like Jim O'Rourke? I think this album is the absolute tits.

Halfway to a Threeway is my favorite song to play on acoustic. You sneakily get to sing about trying to sexually assault handicaps while playing a straight up gorgeous melody.
