Is he actually going to die on stage?
>>74018366
No!
he's going to live forever
hey it's actually pretty good
I really appreciate it for what it is, Pitchfork got the score right IMO.
I love how washed out and melodic the guitar tones sound, it gives it a really nice feel.
I usually cringe at the emo-ish trend of being overly blunt and making pop culture references, so I thought songs like Road Head and Jimmy Fallon would be fucking awful but they're actually pretty good, I don't think I'd even notice the directness unless I was reading the lyrics.
Big step up from her previous album too, like way more professional and cohesive. Solid 7.5/10

not cringe at all
This song will never be on the radio.
So I have been thinking about music and where it’s going and it seems to me that with each decade we get better and better
I mean, the 60s we had some good stuff like Hendrix and Beach Boys but just a lot ofg pop like Beatles and Kinks and Rolling Stones, it’s ok but like there’s not really a memorable album
The 70s were King Crimson, Pink Floyd and a couple of others and there were some electronic music like Kraftwerk going around, but still not much going on. Feels like the decade was lacking in creativity.
The 80s is where things got really interesting, we had bands like Joy Division and New order, and they didn’t shy away from making music that was innovative by being extremely depressing and using synthesizers. We also had Prince and U2 emerged onto the scene. Definitely an improbement on the decade,
90s was good and we finally get some good rock from bands like Nirvana Pixies Pavement MBV Oasis and others. Electronic and rap take off, this is where things truly turn around.
00s improves even further – we have Radiohead and their Kid A, something that will alter music for ever. Bands like The Strokes and Arcade Fire revived rock, Sufjan Stevens revived folk and Kanye revived rap
And then the 10s, what can we say about the golden age? We have the best acts for rock– Tame Impala, Animal Collective, Gizzard, Rosenstock, Headrest + all thebest from the previous decade, we have the best pop – Grimes, Carly, Lorde, and the best rap and electronica. This is a glorious age for music.
:^)
I'm going to the beach for the weekend, and was wondering if anyone had any good recs for music at the beach.
when i was younger i really liked this album
so i ordered a copy off amazon
when it arrived there was no disk (second hand) so i got a full refund
i haven't had much time for it since but before then i thought more deep cuts was one of the best in the world
