This is a good pop album. Each track is groovy and catchy enough to be released as a single. Each of the tracks feature enough variety while still following the same pop formula to not get too deviant and out there. The balance between calmness and anger (which would later become Linkin Park's musical trademark) is what makes the album as a whole, and separates it (and the band itself) from the plethora of other nu-metal albums from around the same era.
What does /mu/ think of it?
>>74071691
Terrible lyrics and production, cheesy performance.
But fantastic pop hooks, yes
Always here for angry music.

the remix album is better
Now that Chester is dead, can we FINALLY induct this album into its rightful place as essential /mu/core? It's literally 10/10, unironically.
Why is mr game n watch moving so fast?
wu-tang ain't nuthin ta eff with son
I've probably sung this album's praises longer than a good chunk of /mu/ but a 10/10? Nah, the lyrics are still hilariously heavy handed even if the subject matter is more compelling and the tracklist is 40% filler, why tracks like Empty Spaces, Fallout and Jornada del Muerto are their own tracks I'll never know, nor why The Requiem and The Radiance weren't put together as one thing. Lot of needless fragmentation on it. Still, most of the actual songs were pretty good this time around and I've even seen people who despise the band say Wisdom, Justice and Love was a cool idea.
Should Fantano be held responsible for Chester's death?
>>74071538
Absolutely, he literally told him to hang himself
>>74071557
Fantano never said that
meme wise: yes

If the Jews would've just let Chester/LP be themselves (meteora/hybrid etc)and not pussified them into a black hole then Chester would still be alive.
This could've been prevented.
Prove me wrong.
>>74071480
Chester was the one pushing for their new sound actually, not their Zion overlords
>>74071509
Source.
Famous Dexter is the epitome of hip hop.
If you could erase your memory only to rediscover one band or artist, which would it be?

Share the most tasteful radio stations, be they local or national, and help whatever local snobs are in your area. I recently moved to Sarasota and know nothing whatsoever about what's broadcasted.
I really like Decayfm for some chill shoegaze I can listen to while driving
>>74071434
i fucking live in Bolivia movie, there is not a single patrician radio station, only the classic radio station is ok.
>>74071434
This one usually has something interesting. San Francisco doesn't have very good radio.

Have you guys heard this? It's great, them at their most controlled.
More impact to the noise compared to that on 77 Live or Heavier Than a Death or something.

This is the best album I've heard this year des
Does /mu/ have any suggestions for some quiet rock for the midnight hour? Thinking in style with Motion Pictures - Neil Young, Yo La Tengo - Our Way to Fall? Will post more if I can come up with something.
Thaaaanks
Why was this the greatest hip hop album to come out in the last 5 years
