ITT: Post only 10/10 albums for working out. I'll even make a chart out of them.
>>74180466
i don't listen to this album when working out, but Dunwich off of Witchcult Today has always been somewhere in my workout mix for a full decade at this point.
so has this song. people can make fun of me, but fuck it. i think this one of the best SP albums because Jimmy came back to drum.

>>74180466
one of my personal faves for running
Why do certain albums get panned before they even come out?
>>74180456
The singles released are usually demonstrative of the overall quality of the album.
It leaked a while ago.
>>74180456
Idk man, I thought this shit was GREAT
And that's coming from a person that always thought AF sounded like they're trying too hard
hahaa
I like it unironically.
>>74180462
I unironically like it ironically
>>74180441
Most complex rock album of all time?
I'd probably say Behold the Arctopus
So complex its hard to listen to and enjoy
>>74180435
yeah it's probably that
though I mean complexity isn't a linear model it's more a plane: there are albums with not a lot of complexity in terms of dissonance or polyrhythms but more complexity in form and other areas
Twin Infinitives

you're preoccupied with trying to make sure other people understand to the point shit gets fucked up. after you move, i want you to spend the first six months ONLY focusing on how other people communicate their ideas. when that shit makes sense, you start borrowing ideas from the the people you've met who seem the best at it.
you seem sweet, but get it fucking together. good luck at the next carnival.
>>74180375
fuck man if you just talked about it for 2-3 minutes it would have been a really great endearing move but you kind of fucked it by going full autism. i mean shit giving it a score and a track by track analysis? anyway dude hopefully these guys look past your autism and appreciate your extremely thoughtful gift because it is a wonderful thing to do after all
i would suggest learning from this experience to try and develop your sense of self-awareness. dont stress about it too much my dude
holy shit yes you are a retard
What was their best song?
I CAN'T GO FOR THAT NOO
>>74180335
Private Eyes or Maneater. They had so many good ones though, it's actually shocking.
Out of Touch
Even for being hip hop artists, they're instantly recognisable and respected. They're probably undisputed best Southern hip hop artist of all time, they've released 4 classics. They're humble, accessible (in a good way). I understand that they went in a poppy direction, but they still made Hey Ya!, Roses, Unhappy, A Life in the Day of Benjamin André, etc... My dad hates rap, but even he loves Hey Ya! Andre 3000 is a legend and still is insane to this day.
Does anybody really hate Outkast?
I do
>>74180263
I only like love below so I guess
>>74180263
good god yeah, he's awful

don't play into the fake worshipping normies are doing of this song rn. toto were one-hit wonders
What's your favorite line from Toto - Africa? Mine is: "I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become".
Did Trent Reznor rip off this song for his entire career?
>Only 3 people in this photo are still alive
:(
CHEER UP SLEEPY JEAN

OH WHAT CAN IT MEAN

>play pic related because p good album and kind of in the right mood
>hmm people must be thinking "whoa this guy is either not embarassed to nostalgia or he's just a simple mature guy that is not afraid of what people think"
>look at friends bar on the right
>some cool hipster guy of my age plays cool shit that resembles his cool persona and mature and indie etc etc chill art people thing
>his instagram is also cool and very artistic and he's kind of my 'rival', like i always show how my shit is superior to his, even though i sucked his dick once and he's just a very cool and chill and cute person, i wish i could be like him, or better than him.
>immediately embarassed of what i'm listening to
>*private session* listen to finish
>play cool patrician stuffs to clean up their thoughts about me and fix my persona. to redeem what i did wrong with myself
it just never ends, bros. i'm 24. fuck
>>74180165
i think i will get into photography and show that i can take better pictures than him, i should also show people (especially his attractive female friends) that i have better vocabulary and better taste in everything.
but i also miss him, i wanna kiss him and suck his dick again. fuck i'm crazy
>>74180165
currently have been visiting /p/ a lot. maybe i will also get into /ic/ again, idk, i used to love drawing a lot but then depression kicked in and all passions lost. well at least i can play instruments and i can sing. when on my scooter i sing a lot and fantasize singing in front of his attractive friends, because damn hipsters are attractive. i gave up /fa/ but i might get into it again. it was a mistake to let my passions die.
listening to The Beatnigs now, pretty boring. but i wonder what they're thinking of me now.
also he has a micropenis. so yeah at least i'm bigger than him but i'm still pretty small too. but bigger than him. but it didn't matter to me when i hooked up with him though, i'm not a woman so it didn't matter to me.
What is your favorite song on this album?
>>74180104
Laura.
Mononucleosis, Frank, and Sorry Charlie are also amazing.
>>74180104

rude
>Cohen is mentioned in the Nirvana song "Pennyroyal Tea" from the band's 1993 release, In Utero. Kurt Cobain wrote, "Give me a Leonard Cohen afterworld/So I can sigh eternally." Cohen, after Cobain's suicide, was quoted as saying "I'm sorry I couldn't have spoken to the young man. I see a lot of people at the Zen Centre, who have gone through drugs and found a way out that is not just Sunday school. There are always alternatives, and I might have been able to lay something on him."
could Leonard have saved him?
I still miss him bros ;_;
>>74179832
>could Leonard have saved him?
Leonard couldn't even save himself.
no one could have saved him. he was in a bad mental state and was in what was probably the worst life situation relative to his mental state.
>>74179848
same. YWID is a great final album though.
