Would you fuck John, Denny and Cass if it meant you could fuck Michelle afterward?
>>74273999
With a condom on my dick yes, but Michelle I would fuck without a condom and I would lick her pussy.

reminder that the mamas and the papas singer raped and had sex with his own biological daughter for 11 years and impregnated her and then made her abort it
also reminder that brian is a pure soul and musical genius for the ages

absolute shit taste
imho discussion of commercial music is drastically hampered until we can sort out the process by which the music and musicians we listen to are made. “Ghostwriters” are the tip of the iceberg behind the scenes.
Am i just not patrician enough to know the ins and outs of the. Industry? Someone dresses these people, someone picks the themes of the new album, people write the words, there’s a horde of producers each doing different things.
Someone care to talk about how this works? I have no clue, but I feel like we’re missing out on the real stars of our time cause they’re too smart to fall for the fame meme...
>>74273880
>fame meme
it's getting to the point where anybody with musical integrity knows "making it big" is becoming less feasible for them
kendrick doesn't write his own music

>"If you're so funny, then why are you on your own tonight?"
one of you faggots told me if I got a job I'd have friends and eventually become a normie but I'd just like to use this thread to tell whoever that was to go fuck yourself because I have a real ass job, it's been 2 months and I still only have acquaintances I exchange awkward hellos with
the smiths are cool tho
>>74274974
theres no such thing as friends anymore. this "awkward exchange of hellos" has experienced a boom since the advent of smart phones. of course i'm hyperbolizing but I believe it's going to become an understated reality in the near future. its hard enough to make friends as a kid but it becomes even harder to become friends with total strangers you never grew up with
i think that once 90+% of human interaction takes place online, "IRL" friendships will become a thing of the past. you see this on reddit and 4chan too, people seem to enjoy conversing with total strangers about the things that brings them together more than chatting with facebook/snapchat friends about what you had for dinner or what you'll do on saturday.
just wait until virtual "hang outs" become the norm
>>74274974
I bet you're working a white collar wagecuck job.
Was that Pcy's fault?

What does /moo/ think about this album?
Unironically a 10/10
>>74273618
I love it it was my fav album for years but dont listen to it much anymore
>>74273618
Gayest thing I've ever heard, 9/10
ITT: Terrible albums with great cover art
I literally listened to only this album during a whole summer when I was learning English. It's pretty entertaining when I look back.
I also remember getting angry when Eminem called Relapse 'eh' in an album that's worse than Relapse.

QUESTION:
Can the type of music you listen to have an effect on your outlook on life/happiness levels? For example, if I only listen to happy, upbeat music, will I feel less depressed over time? And vice versa (will constantly listening to dark music make you more depressed)?
>>74273495
>if I only listen to happy, upbeat music, will I feel less depressed over time?
It's more like the opposite
I think it's more likely, yeah
But if you have oppressive outside factors that are making you feel a certain way, listening to music that induces the opposite emotions will not affect you, they can only aide if you change those factors to fit the tone.
>>74273542
>they can only aide if you change those factors to fit the tone
Very insightful, anon. I do notice that I'll listen to a "beautiful" piece of music while depressed and feel a kind of melancholy euphoria, while the same song can make me feel happy and on cloud 9 when I'm already happy or content going into it.
what do you like about /mu/?
what do you dislike and how to fix it?
I have come here to kick ass and chew bubblegum.
>>74273448
I don't like people who post the Reddit frog on this board.
>like: discussion of music
>dislike: unwavering focus on superficial aspects of music (e.g. complaining about the fans of a given artist, waifuism, etc)
>dislike: people literally treating the music board as a meme warfare battleground and spilling ideological spaghetti
>how to fix: there is no hope
T-they'll re-release this with the correct track listing and a separate album of its instrumentals on its 20th anniversary, r-right /mu/?
>tfw can only listen to this album the way it's intended to be on vinyl.

>>74273435
i think it's the best hella album
Just picked up my vinyl after being separated for five years. I'm beginning to think it's worth a lot of money relative to what it cost me.
ok thanks for sharing
shit taste by the way
>>74273280
Genuine curiosity: why buy vinyls and other physical media when digital music storage is superior and more convenient?
I like the aesthetic of vinyl, but what's the point?
>>74273346
People like to own things autist.
post your AOTYs so far

Probably the weakest Mew album yet
The songs are simpler and less progressive

>>74273229
Yeh it was more pop than prog but still, I personally loved it and enjoyed it more than the previous two albums.
