is it really all practice?

1. building a trap song or any other genre with mpc
--you do not have to be a music professor
--most popular music is made by djs with studio tools that do not even play instruments
--its good to know an instrument though
--just know the process

2. get fl studio and mpc, this is necessary, if you cant get one and still want to follow the tutorial theres a workaround
--mpd26 - 50$ guitar center, this is the best for a beginner it is so eays ot integrate into fl studio
--best thing for jamming

3. study the genre of choice(use a search engine)
--lay out beats as you read
--nows not the time to be a perfectionist
--leave room for other things to happen in your mix, this will become apparent when we get to the final step
--i find i get lost easily, really breaks up train of thought
--perfectionism comes in the final step
--try your best to flow between the tracks
--**Integrate another genre like reggaeon into the mix**
--do this as a final touch

FOR TRAP
--change tempo to 70-85
--add a back beat
--piano roll zooming
--copy and paste ctrl+v and ctrl+c
--add 16th, 32nd, 24th, 48th notes
--get creative
--let it work with the back beat

try all possible combinations you can think of until it matches your palette

--loading off time signature into mpc

--like i said earlier, leave room in your mix for these things to happen

12. when your all done with a track, like completely done give yourself time to experiment
--look around fl studio
--dial tweaks etc
--look for any knob in fl studio, right click and look for link to controller
--loading tones
--time shifting
--panning inane sounds and samples
--later integrate into future songs
--learn to break the rules, steal from unpopular genres
--always find new music
