How the fuck do I listen to music /mu/? Every time I try and listen to an album, my attention wanes part way through and I either start thinking about random shit or do other stuff while the musics in the background. How do I become an involved listener goddammit

The point of these threads is to encourage people to look for new and interesting music. We do this by listening to and ideally discussing albums we've never heard before. Many of us already listen to new music daily, these people are in it to venture "out of their comfort zone" by listening to albums they otherwise wouldn't have, or just to have a good time.

It's literally omnipresent where I live and played everywhere. I don't even know what delusion liberals have entered that they can align this with their feminism propaganda but somehow they can and the other day I caught my 9 year old niece watching this.

I bought this album in unused CD for 4$ at some weird music thrift store by a mall, and I never heard it previously before that.

It's fucking glorious, I was very pleasantly surprised from not hearing a lot of Bowie material outside of Ziggy Stardust and his other hits.
