shoegaze albums with terrible album art are usually amazing.

with a few artistic changes, here's the fanfic we made last night
also general /bjork/ thread, what do you want production-wise from her new album?
>>74364391
Here's an interview with some info on the album http://imgur.com/a/gMLEm
I wanted something happy, and Vespertine-ish, and it looks like that's what we're going to get, Batabid is one of my favourite Bjork tracks so I'm glad she's going in that direction.
Also the mod on her forum is certain there isn't going to be a leak this time, so I think it'll release digitally first, perhaps a surprise release next week? Then a month or two later physically.
Thanks OP I needed to jerk off
Excited for whatever she has next. I thought Vulnicura was her best since Medúlla so I hope this next album could be as good.
Oh, and I screenshoted that whole thread with the fanfiction to save for memes in the future. Looks like that was a little pointless.
What's some music that's heart wrenching?

I finally listened to every single album he has given an 8. I've finally become a patrician. AMA
Which ones did you like the best and which ones were shit
>implying that makes you a patrician
>>74466894
of the 9's, The Doors, VU&N, Astral Weeks, and Desert Shore were my least favorites, while my favorites were Trout Mask Replica, Faust, Geek the Girl, and Yerself is Steam
as for the 8's, my least favorites were Tragedy by Julia Holter, Yo La Tengo's May I Sing With Me, and Pixies' Surfer Rosa. As for my favorites it would have to be Boredom's Vision Creation Newsom and Eno's Taking Tiger Moutain By Strategy
>>74466914
how does it not? I wasn't getting any good recommendations from /mu/, that's for sure
better than your favourite rapper
>>74466611
I don't have a favourite rapper because I'm not retarded

What's your favorite non-metal album of 2017? I mainly listen to metal, and I've heard a good bit of other genres, but I'm sure I'm missing some gems.
Currently listening to the new Richard Dawson album. Thanks in advance, /moo/.

so to speak
>kick former leader out of his own band
>write songs about how much you miss him
>he comes back and offers to rejoin or just help the band
>nobody cares about him
>he leaves
>continue writing about how much you miss him and want him to come back
>literally never attempt to talk to him ever again
What the fuck is wrong with these guys?
>>74464951
I don't think that's what happened
>>74464951
It's past your bedtime Roger.
>>74464963
It's exactly what happened. Read "A Very Irregular Head," Syd wasn't insane in the slightest.
Hello /mu/.
I've recently started to listen more and more to Opeth, both their old and new songs and I just can't get enough, these are real fucking musicians.
However, i've found it to be hard to find bands resembling the same sound that is their old progressive rock/death/black-metal/jazz fusion.
Care to help a metalhead out?
This might be one of the best songs i've heard in my life and considered by me to be the best Opeth song there is.
https://youtu.be/fV7KAarJgNg
>progressive rock/death/black-metal/jazz fusion.
They're neither black metal, neither jazz fusion in the slightest.
listen to Leprous for some more proge
listen to some og prog like soft machine or camel or can before you bother with opeth's prog revival wank
>>74464781
Might not be it overall, but some songs definitely have both black metal and jazz influences.
Leprous was actually pretty good, more modern sounding. Thanks!
Can someone tell me how this guitar is tuned?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=2IOnQ2lAXCg
Been trying to learn this but it just doesn't sound right on my guitar
>pic sorta related
>>74464630
It's in standard tuning:
EADGBe (from thickest to thinnest string)
>>74464692
But how come it sound so different on my guitar?
>>74464714
I don't know, it sounds fine on my guitar. Maybe your guitar is out of tune or has intonation problems. What are you using to hear the audio from the video? You could have faulty speakers/headphones.
Can I have some songs about girls named "courtney"
