Thanks for posting. Get To Heaven was a great album. Hopefully this one isn't a let down.

Just listened to it
It's much more straightforward than GtH, less off-beat sound
Really strange that they didn't release Night of the Long Knives and Ivory Tower first, these are bangers
I'd rate it a bit worse than GtH and better than Arc
Thans for the heads up GTH was great
and I think his lung's fucked up

RHCP? Why do they get hate on here?
Let's talk about them seriously no haters allowed. My favorite song is Snow (Hey Oh)
They get hate cause a lot of people dismiss them for the california shit and the 5 or 6 overplayed radio singles. A lot of people also have a hate boner for Anthony Kiedis so that doesn't help, he is a complete piece of shit to be fair.
I'm convinced that if their songs like 'I Could Have Lied' and 'Pretty Little Ditty' were by a lesser known band people would like them a lot more. Imo RHCP has made some of the best pop rock out there

>Let's talk about them seriously no haters allowed.
That's one big oxymoron

Cherry Bomb’s blackened mood feels both dry and overwhelmingly mediocre. The casual use of sexist and homophobic slurs make the listening experience even less pleasant, driving Odd Future’s ridiculous nature into the ground and replacing it with something even more irritating: Tyler’s persona.
The worst thing about Cherry Bomb is how blindly naive it is about its own musical incompetence. The mindless threats and offensive slurs are handed out to the listener like candy, and the record has nothing else to support a feat such as this other than its feeble and easily breakable foundation. It does not utilize its very essence in the way like it should, rather, it completely mocks and degrades it in the worst ways possible. There are no specific songs or highlights worth mentioning, as it is pure filler and mind-numbing garbage all the way through. Before, Tyler’s casual offensiveness and homophobia served as just a mere backdrop for his persona on earlier records such as Goblin and Wolf. Now, it’s as clear and forced as ever. His close-mindedness is no longer something the rapper plays off of – rather, it’s something that he endorses and worships one-hundred percent of the time.
Flower Boy is so fucking great, whenever you even know about his past works or not.
OP is a faggot

What does /mu/ think about Phil Collins?
"Am I going to die today?"
he's greedy and cocky
>>74465937
I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

Crappy edm is rave now?
Why did noise rock die?
most of the best bands of the genre came within a small timeframe.
by the time this generation ended the genre already peaked and mostly everything about it was explored.

>mbv
>tjamc

and to some extent, ride with going blank again.

>this is his idea of noise rock
Do you ever listen to music that isn't on the /mu/core chart?
This is barely a tiny fraction of what noise rock has to offer, and three of the band you listed aren't noise rock.
>>74465268
It isn't dead, there are plenty of noise rock bands still active.
Brainbombs made an album this year, Health made an album 2 years ago, Unsane has an album in preparation, Oxbow also made an album this year.
And that's not counting all the modern bands, more underground but still there, making noise rock to this day.
