I found a DA user that ships Jon Anderson and Chris Squire.

Hey /mu/, I'm searching for a specific music video. It's a nightmare-ish video. It's about a guy who starts to date a girl. They go to a pong together and have a picnic. She starts feeding him with human body parts and it turns out she's a weird tentacle monster.
He manages to kill her or knock her out and tries to run, only to find out that another version of her is trying the same thing with another guy. He tries to warn that guy but gets knocked out. He manages to get home safely and sits down to take a breath. Another version of the girl comes to him smiling as if nothing ever happened and , I think, kills him finally.
I think it's an Indie song? I can't really remember.
Kanye seems very naive and "old school" on The College Dropout, but he seems very cynically egotistical on Yeezus, where he seems to be beyond being just a rapper/producer, he's a god.
It still feels weird that Family Business and I'm In It is made by the same person. It feels like the new Kanye is a completely different person.

>Watch Kanye interview from 2013
>Talks non-stop about fashion and how he's pushing hip-hop and how he's not a rapper he's an artist

Nah, he's the same dude

He started to become the new Kanye in about 2007 imo. The dropout bear albums are made by the old Kanye. (Not saying anything is good or bad, he just SEEMED very different. This is not about logic, this is about how it feels.)
Next thing he's gonna do is realise he's more than just a god, and gonna rap about that very fast, dropping his best and cleverest lines over the entirety of Pulse Demon, but he'll make it so can't really make out what he's saying.
No mastering, no EQ-ing, no clever sampling, just the most experimental and raw hip-hop album ever made.
what's their fucking problem
They started a gimmick and are sticking to it. Good music though.

Yes, it is similar to Friends on the Other Side, but what genre is that, exactly?
Anything like this in terms of pure scale and length? Preferably by other artists.
Kamasi Washington's "The Epic" is a good one. Or Sun Kil Moon's "Common as Light and Love are Red Valleys of Blood"
not really, but it does have a sizable length and scale for a rock album. Not really easily considered rock though, a lot of stuff in here

find a flaw
What are some things in music that really wind you up? I personally hate when an album's first half is great but the second half is awful like pic related
Squeaky strings. Pick up your goddamn fingers.
>>75069326
Falling Down and Soldier On are some of the best tracks on the album tho...
>>75069339
Honestly, I thought Falling Down was overrated. Soldier On is good but it isn't really saving the second half.
Anyone familiar with Musigh?
